Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness. After John (the Baptizer)
was put in prison, Jesus went into Galilee, proclaiming the good news of God. So He traveled throughout Galilee, preaching in their synagogues and driving out demons.
When He saw the crowds, He had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd.
Jesus was moved with compassion
How enduring is God’s loyal love;the Eternal has inexhaustible compassion.
Here they are, every morning, new!Your faithfulness, God, is as broad as the day.
(Lamentations 3:22-23)
If we have faith enough to bear our own cross, we shall leave something wonderful behind when we’re finally called to leave this life.
That’s success!
Let us rejoice, be happy, and give him glory because it’s time for the marriage of the lamb. His bride has made herself ready.
(Revelation 19:7)
When Jesus returns will He find us faithful?
Compassion opens our eyes to see people from God’s perspective. Only His love can soften hearts to the point of recognition that His is the love that will not let us go.
What we do for others, we do for Him.
Then the King will say to those to His right,
King: Come here, you beloved, you people whom My Father has blessed. Claim your inheritance, the Kingdom prepared for you from the beginning of creation. You shall be richly rewarded, for when I was hungry, you fed Me. And when I was thirsty, you gave Me something to drink. I was alone as a stranger, and you welcomed Me into your homes and into your lives. I was naked, and you gave Me clothes to wear; I was sick, and you tended to My needs; I was in prison, and you comforted Me.
Even then the righteous will not have achieved perfect understanding and will not recall these things.
Righteous: Master, when did we find You hungry and give You food? When did we find You thirsty and slake Your thirst? When did we find You a stranger and welcome You in, or find You naked and clothe You? When did we find You sick and nurse You to health? When did we visit You when You were in prison?
King: I tell you this: whenever you saw a brother or sister hungry or cold, whatever you did to the least of these, so you did to Me. (Matthew 25:34-40)
The Spirit AND the Bride SAY “come” And let he who is thirsty come and drink freely from the river of life.
Freely you have received, freely give!
“My house shall be called a house of prayer . . . . But you have made it a ’den of thieves’ ” (Mark 11:17).
Have we come to realize that our “body is the temple of the Holy Spirit”? If so, we must be careful to keep it undefiled for Him. We have to remember that our conscious life, even though only a small part of our total person, is to be regarded by us as a “temple of the Holy Spirit.” He will be responsible for the unconscious part which we don’t know, but we must pay careful attention to and guard the conscious part for which we are responsible.
(My Utmost for His Highest)
They raised their voices together in prayer to God. (Acts 4:24)
I must be about my Father’s business
Jesus went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil for the Father was with Him.
Jesus calls us His family IF we hear and do whatever He tells us to do.
Never betray His trust—get over “it” and keep walking in His will.
This is how we overcome…by faith!
Listen to these words of Jesus Christ: “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me.“
Luke 9:23
Your body is the TEMPLE of God’s Holy Spirit; you are NOT your own, you are bought with a price THEREFORE glorify God in your body!
Let your light so shine before men that they see your good works & give glory to your Father in heaven!
Those of us who follow Jesus today come to know Him as that gentle but strong shepherd who guides us through life if we will follow Him.
He MAKES me lie down in green pastures He restores my soul.
Surely goodness & mercy shall follow me all the days of my life and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever!
Household Salvation
“The land where you lie, to you will I give it, and to your seed descendants.” (Genesis 28:13)
The Eternal is my shepherd, He cares for me always.
He provides me rest in rich, green fields
beside streams of refreshing water.
He soothes my fears;
He makes me whole again,
steering me off worn, hard paths
to roads where truth and righteousness echo His name.
Even in the unending shadows of death’s darkness,
I am not overcome by fear.
Because You are with me in those dark moments,
near with Your protection and guidance,
I am comforted.
You spread out a table before me,
provisions in the midst of attack from my enemies;
You care for all my needs, anointing my head with soothing, fragrant oil,
filling my cup again and again with Your grace.
Certainly Your faithful protection and loving provision will pursue me
I need a RESTING PLACE
This is the RESTING PLACE verse.
O Love That Will Not Let Me Go
- O Love that wilt not let me go,
I rest my weary soul in thee;
I give thee back the life I owe,
That in thine ocean depths its flow
May richer, fuller be. - O light that foll’west all my way,
I yield my flick’ring torch to thee;
My heart restores its borrowed ray,
That in thy sunshine’s blaze its day
May brighter, fairer be. - O Joy that seekest me through pain,
I cannot close my heart to thee;
I trace the rainbow through the rain,
And feel the promise is not vain,
That morn shall tearless be. - O Cross that liftest up my head,
I dare not ask to fly from thee;
I lay in dust life’s glory dead,
And from the ground there blossoms red
Life that shall endless be.
BELOVED i wish above ALL things that you prosper & be in good health EVEN AS your soul prospers—
To succeed, you have to grab hold of God’s dreams.
The vision is for an appointed time…it will speak!
I am coming soon; hold fast what you have so that no one may seize your crown. (Revelation 3:11)
God is Love. And because of God’s great love for us, He sent Yeshua (Jesus) to earth to be the ladder that bridged the gap between Heaven and Earth, providing the way to our Father.
Just as the body is the TEMPLE of God’s Holy Spirit, even so—
The lamp of the body is the EYE.
If therefore your EYE is good, your WHOLE body is full of light. Matthew 6:22
What God has joined together let no man tear asunder
WHO GIVES THIS HAND IN MARRIAGE?
“How awesome is this place! This is none other than the house of God; this is the gate of heaven.” (Genesis 28:17)
God in us is greater than any force that would try to come against us; therefore, we can live with strength and courage because having God on our side makes all the difference.
We can fully entrust ourselves into the hands of the One who is completely righteous and just. God will protect and defend us.
“The Lord is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life, of whom shall I be afraid?” (Psalm 27:1)
Marriage is a METAPHOR of God’s love and commitment
He is Faithful AND True.
God watches over HIS WORD to perform it.
Jesus is the LIVING WORD of God.
When someone tries to cheat or mistreat us, or when someone does us harm over and over again, we can boldly declare,
“If God be for me, who can be against me!” (Romans 8:31)
He sent His Word to heal & deliver them from destruction.
“I will heal their waywardness and love them freely, for My anger has turned away from them.” (Hosea 14:4)
Prosper in the place sent.
Eternal One: If you are thirsty, come here;
come, there’s water for all.
Whoever is poor and penniless can still
come and buy the food I sell.
There’s no cost—here, have some food, hearty and delicious,
and beverages, pure and good.
2 I don’t understand why you spend your money for things that don’t nourish
or work so hard for what leaves you empty.
Attend to Me and eat what is good;
enjoy the richest, most delectable of things.
3 Listen closely, and come even closer. My words will give life,
for I will make a covenant with you that cannot be broken, a promise
Of My enduring presence and support like I gave to David.
4 See, I made him a witness to the peoples, a leader and commander among the nations.
5 Now you will issue a call to nations from all over the world—
people whom you do not know and who do not know you.
They will come running, because of Me, your God
because the Eternal, the Holy One of Israel, has made you beautiful.
6 So turn your attention and seek the Eternal One while it is still possible;
call on Him while He is nearby.
7 Let those who are busy plotting violence and doing wrong
stop right now, turn, and do right.
Let them turn back to the Eternal so they can experience His compassion.
God will excuse our past wrongs. Our God’s forgiveness is inexhaustible.
Eternal One: 8 My intentions are not always yours,
and I do not go about things as you do.
9 My thoughts and My ways are above and beyond you,
just as heaven is far from your reach here on earth.
10 For as rain and snow can’t go back once they’ve fallen,
but soak into the ground
And nourish the plants that grow,
providing seed to the farmer and bread for the hungry,
11 So it is when I declare something.
My word will go out and not return to Me empty,
But it will do what I wanted;
it will accomplish what I determined.
12 For you will go out in joy, be led home in peace.
And as you go the land itself will break out in cheers;
The mountains and the hills will erupt in song,
and the trees of the field will clap their hands.
13 Prickly thorns and nasty briers will give way
to luxurious shade trees, sweet and good.
And they’ll remind you of the Eternal One
and how God can be trusted absolutely and forever.
(Isaiah 55)
Stretch out your arms in grace
Eternal One: Sing, childless woman, you who have never given birth.
Raise a joyful shout, you who have never gone through labor.
You, whose husband is dead, will bring forth much more than the fertile one who has a husband.[a]
2 Enlarge your house. You are going to need a bigger place;
don’t underestimate the amount of room that you’ll need. So build, build, build.
3 You will increase in every direction to fill the world.
Your offspring will take over the nations;
Your people will revitalize long-abandoned towns.
4 Don’t be afraid, for there is no one to shame you.
Don’t fear humiliation, for there is no one to disgrace you.
The shame of your younger years and the sorrow of your widowhood are over.
You’ll forget those days as if they never happened.
5 Because the One who made you will be your husband;
the One called Commander of heavenly armies
Will set you right again, the Holy One of Israel.
It’s not for nothing that He is called “God of all the earth.”
6 For the Eternal has called you to come back home,
like a young wife, once deserted and deeply injured.
Now God is pulling you close again. Like a spouse forgives,
He will take you back and be reconciled.
(Isaiah 54:1-6)
“Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in My house. Test Me in this,”
says the LORD Almighty,
“and SEE if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it.” (Malachi 3:10)
Moved with compassion, Jesus stretched out His hand and touched, and transformed the sin-sick and dying into the
healed, forgiven, living.
As the man with the WITHERED hand stretched it out on the SABBATH the DAY OF REST
We live, move and have our being in obedient agreement with the WORD of the LORD.
That is the place of restful being for Jesus is Lord of the Sabbath.
‘Wake up, and strengthen the things that remain, which were about to die; for I have not found your deeds completed in the sight of My God. So remember what you have received and heard; and keep it, and repent. Therefore if you do not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you will not know at what hour I will come to you.” (Revelation 3:2-3)
These are the words of Him who holds the seven spirits of God and the seven stars. I know your deeds; you have a reputation of being alive, but you are dead. (Revelation 3:1)
The one who is victorious will, like them, be dressed in white. I will never blot out the name of that person from the book of life, but will acknowledge that name before my Father and His angels. (Revelation 3:5)
