“The time is surely coming,” says the Sovereign LORD, “when I will send a famine on the land–not a famine of bread or water but of hearing the words of the LORD.”
There was a famine in the land–
Isaac planted crops in that land and the same year reaped a hundredfold, because the LORD blessed him. (Genesis 26:12)
The Blessing of Obedience
How blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked, Nor stand in the path of sinners, Nor sit in the seat of scoffers! But his delight is in the law of the LORD, And in His law he meditates day and night. He is like a tree planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. In all that he does, he prospers.
“Come, all you who are thirsty, come to the waters; and you who have no money, come, buy and eat! Come, buy wine and milk without money and without cost.
” (Isaiah 55:1) As you go, proclaim this message: ‘The kingdom of heaven has come near.’ (Matthew 10:7)
Do not work for food that spoils, but for food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you. For on Him God the Father has placed His seal of approval.”
(John 6:27) Jesus answered, “The work of God is this: to believe in the one He has sent.” (John 6:29)
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. (John 1:1)
“I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “Who is, and Who was, and Who is to come, the Almighty.” (Revelation 1:8)
“This is what the LORD says— Israel’s King and Redeemer, the LORD Almighty: I am the first and I am the last; apart from me there is no God.” (Isaiah 44:26)
It is important to base our faith, not on our own whims and wants, but on what God says in His Word, the Bible. Faith is not blind faith in what we ourselves decide we want. It is faith in what God says to us in His Word, the Bible.
to supply all our NEED
according to His riches
in Christ Jesus in glory. Only one thing is needful; everything else is optional.
Song of Trust in God’s Provision
In that day this song will be sung in the land of Judah: “We have a strong city; He sets up walls and ramparts for security. “Open the gates, that the righteous nation may enter, The one that remains faithful. “The steadfast of mind You will keep in perfect peace, Because he trusts in You.” (Isaiah 26:1-3)
“These I will bring to My holy mountain and give them joy in My house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and sacrifices will be accepted on My altar; for My house will be called a house of prayer for all nations.”
Both the One who makes people holy and those who are made holy are of the same family. So Jesus is not ashamed to call them brothers and sisters.
You therefore, my SON, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
(2 Timothy 2:1)
Father, I pray that You will strengthen me and my fellow believers and that
Your presence may assure us of this blessing in Christ Jesus, Amen.
All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correction, and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly EQUIPPED
for every GOOD WORK. (2 Timothy 3:16-17)
“Why were you searching for Me?” He asked. “Didn’t you know I had to be in My Father’s house?“ (Jesus, SPEAKING in Luke 2:49)
Open for me the gates of the righteous; I will enter and give thanks to the LORD.
But all the descendants of Israel will find deliverance in the LORD and will make their boast in Him. (Psalm 118:19, Isaiah 54:14)
He said to them, “The Scriptures declare, ‘My Temple will be called a house of prayer,’ but you have turned it into a den of thieves!” (Matthew 21:13)
Has this house, which bears my Name, become a den of robbers to you? But I have been watching! declares the LORD. (Jeremiah 7:11) God Watches Over His Word to Perform It. (Jeremiah 1:12)
“Do not work for the food which perishes, but for the food which endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give to you, for on Him the Father, God, has set His seal.” Therefore they said to Him, “What shall we do, so that we may work the works of God?” Jesus answered and said to them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He has sent.”
“My food,” said Jesus, “is to do the will of Him who sent Me and to finish His work. “
For I have come down from heaven not to do My will but to do the will of Him who sent Me.
“The One who sent Me is with Me; He has not left Me alone, for I always do what pleases Him.” (John 8:29)
Open the gates that the righteous nation may enter, the nation that keeps faith.
Again Jesus said, “Peace be with you! As the Father has sent Me, I am sending you.”
“And as you go, preach
, ‘The kingdom of heaven is at hand.
‘ “Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, cast out demons. Freely you received, freely give.
“Do not acquire gold, or silver, or copper for your money belts, (Matthew 10:7-9)
Lord, give me strength enough that I may not dishonor Your name but keep me from pride and selfishness that I may bring joy and glory to Your name on earth as it is in heaven. Give me my daily bread as the portion that You allot so that I
have more than enough to share with those You me to. I know that You are able to make all grace abound towards me that I always have all sufficiency in all things abounding to every good work. Help me to live that way, that truth and that life today Amen.
It is Your anointing that breaks the yoke off our neck that the enemy has used to bind us into slavery. Give us Your burden, for Your yoke is easy and Your burden
light that we walk together as ONE in AGREEMENT connected by the power of Your Holy Spirit of Truth. We are about our Father’s business bringing in the harvest of righteousness in the earth today as it is in heaven. For the earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof. I will share their burdens carrying them unto You and so fulfill the Royal Law of King Jesus, our Great High Priest interceding for the wayward and complainers that they receive correction and return to Your family of faith. I rest in the Sabbath Day knowing that “It is finished” in the Lord, Christ Jesus who is Lord of the Sabbath. I believe and enter into the work of His Rest in Peace that surpasses all human understanding. The Lord will perfect that which concerns me and as for me and my house we will serve the Lord with joy and gladness! By faith, I ask You to connect me with Your unlimited resources so that Your power can be at work through me for that field You appoint me. Today where there is barren dry earth, I speak the love of God shed abroad by Your Holy Spirit and out of my innermost being flows rivers of Living Water. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
“I do not possess silver and gold, but what I do have I give to you: In the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene– walk!“ (Acts 3:6)
–That they would seek God, if perhaps they might grope for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us; for in Him we live and move and exist, as even some of your own poets have said, ‘For we also are His children.‘
“Being then the children of God, we ought not to think that the Divine Nature is like gold or silver or stone, an image formed by the art and thought of man. (Acts 17-27-29)
Then you will look and be radiant, your heart will throb and swell with joy; the wealth on the seas will be brought to you, to you the riches of the nations will come. (Isaiah 60:5)
Open the gates that the righteous nation may enter, the nation that keeps faith.
In that day the LORD will punish the powers in the heavens above and the kings on the earth below.
(Isaiah 26:2, Isaiah 24:21)
Your gates will always stand open, they will never be shut, day or night, so that people may bring you the wealth of the nations– their kings led in triumphal procession. (Isaiah 60:11)
You will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God. (2 Corinthians 9:11)
The Wise Son
The lips of the righteous feed many, But fools die for lack of understanding.
It is the blessing of the LORD that makes rich, And He adds no sorrow to it. (Proverbs: 10:21-22)
The blessing of the LORD brings wealth, without painful toil for it.
I thank my God always concerning you for the grace of God which was given you in Christ Jesus, that in everything you were enriched in Him, in all speech and all knowledge, even as the testimony concerning Christ was confirmed in you.
(1 Corinthians 1:4-6)
