“—but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat from it you will certainly die.” (Genesis 2:17)But blessed are your eyes, for they see, and your ears, for they hear. (Matthew 13:16)
Now the serpent was more crafty than any other beast of the field that the Lord God had made.
He said to the woman, “Did God actually say, ‘You shall not eat of any tree in the garden’?” (Genesis 3:1)
When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it. (Genesis 3;6) The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons. (1 Timothy 4:1) You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, and has nothing to do with the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks out of his own character, for he is a liar and the father of lies.
Don’t Believe Everything You Are Told–
Obsession with self in these matters is a DEAD END.
Attention to God, leads us out into the OPEN, into a SPACIOUS free life.
(Romans 5:8) The Lord confides in those who fear Him, He makes His covenant known to them. My eyes are ever on the Lord, for only He will release my feet from the snare. (Psalm 25:14-15) The only Way out is Jesus Christ. He is the only Way of escape. We have to be under His care and protection. Salvation by any other Name or means, simply does not exist. Complete obedience is required. Praise the LORD.
Come soon, Lord Jesus. Amen. The END.
For though we walk in the flesh, we are not waging war according to the flesh. By truthful speech, and the power of God; with the weapons of righteousness for the right hand and for the left.
God’s Final Word: His Son
In the past God spoke to our ancestors through the prophets at many times and in various ways, but in these last days He has spoken to us by His Son, whom He appointed heir of all things, and through whom also He made the universe. The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of His being, sustaining all things by His powerful Word. After He had provided purification for sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven. So He became as much superior to the angels as the name He has inherited is superior to theirs. (Hebrews 1:1-4)
If any of you needs wisdom to know what you should do, you should ask God, and He will give it to you. God is generous to everyone and doesn’t find fault with them.
Good and upright is the LORD; therefore He instructs sinners in His ways.
I will give you words and wisdom that none of your enemies will be able to oppose or prove wrong. –For the Holy Spirit will teach you at that time what you should say. Now go; I will help you speak and will teach you what to say.
(Psalm 25:8, Luke 21:15, Luke 12:12, Exodus 4:12)
“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter. Outside the city are the dogs–the sorcerers, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idol worshipers, and all who love to live a lie. Don’t you know that wicked people won’t inherit the kingdom of God? Stop deceiving yourselves! People who continue to commit sexual sins, who worship false gods, those who commit adultery, homosexuals, or thieves, those who are greedy or drunk, who use abusive language, or who rob people will not inherit the kingdom of God.
(Matthew 7:21, Revelation 22:15, 1 Corinthians 6:9-10)
But when people keep on sinning, it shows that they belong to the devil, who has been sinning since the beginning. But the Son of God came to destroy the works of the devil. (1 John 3:8) This is how we know who the children of God are and who the children of the devil are: Anyone who does not do what is right is not God’s child, nor is anyone who does not love their brother and sister. (1 John 3:10)
As Jesus warns of the mistreatment His followers can expect, He disarms fears by noting the most important things. If the Spirit is within, there is no reason to fear. In fact, the church will thrive under persecution. Yet humans are obsessed with power and political prominence as a means to influence the culture. Christian citizens have an obligation to strive for justice and freedom through the transforming power of the Spirit in people’s lives. Rather than exerting temporal power, the real work of the Kingdom often thrives under fierce attack and opposition. Jesus announces this coming persecution to His followers, believing this will lead to their finest hour.
Jesus: I am telling you all of this so that you may avoid the offenses that are coming. The time will come when they will kick you out of the synagogue because some believe God desires them to execute you as an act of faithful service. They will do this because they don’t know the Father, or else they would know Me. I’m telling you all this so that when it comes to pass you will remember what you have heard.
The revelation from Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show His servants what must soon take place. He made it known by sending His angel to His servant John. Then the angel said to me, “Write this: Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding supper of the Lamb!” And he added, “These are the true words of God.”
(Revelation 1:1, Revelation 19:9) This is the One who came by water and blood–Jesus Christ. He did not come by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit who testifies, because the Spirit is the truth. (1 John 5:6) Many nations will be joined with the LORD in that day and will become My people. I will live among you and you will know that the LORD Almighty has sent Me to you. The LORD will be king over the whole earth. On that day there will be One LORD, and His Name the Only Name.
(Zechariah 2:11, Zechariah 14:9)
Lies separate man from the truth of the Word–
Therefore, don’t let anyone separate what God has joined together.
(Mark 10:9) Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. (Acts 2:38)
The day of the Eternal One is coming. It is a day of judgment when a great final battle is fought. Jerusalem and her people are under attack; and the city, it seems, falls to her enemies. But ultimately, God’s people do not fight alone. The Lord comes—commanding the army of heaven—to rescue and defend His people. Ultimately, He is crowned King over all the earth. In that day, Jerusalem is transformed and reinstated as God’s holy city; it becomes the center of the world, the source of life-giving waters. Even her enemies make pilgrimages to Jerusalem to worship and adore the one True God.
In days to come, all people who took up arms against Jerusalem and survived will make a choice: they will either journey to Jerusalem every year to keep the Feast of Booths and to worship the King—the Eternal, Commander of heavenly armies— or the families of nations will refuse the journey to Jerusalem to adore the King, the Eternal, Commander of heavenly armies. The rains will never come to those who refuse the journey. Even the family of people known as Egypt, if they do not come up to and travel through the gates of Jerusalem to present themselves to God, the Eternal will afflict them with the same plague of drought He’ll use to crush those nations who won’t keep the Feast of Booths. This is the punishment Egypt and the enemy nations can expect if they refuse the journey to keep the Feast of Booths.
On that day, every aspect of the land will be ritually pure. Engraved on the bells worn by horses will be the same phrase on the high priest’s turban: “Sacred to the Eternal One.” The cooking pots used in the house of the Eternal will be as sacred as those collection bowls used at the altar. In fact every pot in Jerusalem and Judah will be treated as sacred to the Eternal, Commander of heavenly armies, so that anyone who offers a sacrifice may borrow them and use them to boil the meat of the sacrifice. In that day, no merchant will be found in the temple of the Eternal, Commander of heavenly armies. (Zechariah 16:14-21)
He told them, “Scripture says, ‘My house will be called a house of prayer,’ but you’re turning it into a gathering place for thieves!” (Matthew 21:13) Don’t you yourselves admit that this Temple, which bears My name, has become a den of thieves? Surely I see all the evil going on there. I, the LORD, have spoken! (Jeremiah 7:11)
Pro-Choice or Pro-Life?
There is a way that appears to be right, but in the end it leads to death.
(Proverbs 14:12) A stubborn fool considers his own way the right one, but a person who listens to advice is wise. (Proverbs 12:15)
Listen to advice and accept discipline, and at the end you will be counted among the wise. (Proverbs 19:20) Yet you desired faithfulness even in the womb; You taught me wisdom in that secret place. (Psalm 51:6)
For the LORD gives wisdom; from His mouth come knowledge and understanding.
(Proverbs 2:6) “Scripture says, ‘A person cannot live on bread alone but on every word that God speaks.'”–Jesus Christ — “When the Advocate comes, whom I will send to you from the Father–the Spirit of truth who goes out from the Father–He will testify about Me.“
(Matthew 4:4, John 15:26)
You Will Know Them by Their Fruits
Make a tree good and its fruit will be good, or make a tree bad and its fruit will be bad, for a tree is recognized by its fruit. (Matthew 12:33) They conceive trouble and give birth to evil; their womb fashions deceit. (Job 15:35) Not a word from their mouth can be trusted; their heart is filled with malice. Their throat is an open grave; with their tongues they tell lies. (Psalm 5:9)
Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death.
Look at that guy! He had sex with sin, he’s pregnant with evil.
Oh, look! He’s havingthe baby—a Lie-Baby!
Truly the righteous attain life, but whoever pursues evil finds death.
But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere.
The Tree and Its Fruit
“Beware of false prophets who come disguised as harmless sheep but are really vicious wolves. You can identify them by their fruit, that is, by the way they act. Can you pick grapes from thorn bushes, or figs from thistles? (Matthew 7:15-16)
Yes, just as you can identify a tree by its fruit, so you can identify people by their actions.
The life appeared; we have seen it and testify to it, and we proclaim to you the eternal life, which was with the Father and has appeared to us.
But you know that He appeared so that He might take away our sins. And in Him is no sin. Since the children have flesh and blood, He too shared in their humanity so that by His death He might break the power of him who holds the power of death–that is, the devil– Beyond all question, the mystery from which true godliness springs is great: He appeared in the flesh, was vindicated by the Spirit, was seen by angels, was preached among the nations, was believed on in the world, was taken up in glory.
God blesses the one who reads the words of this prophecy to the church, and He blesses all who listen to its message and obey what it says, for the time is near.
“I’m coming soon! Blessed is the one who follows the words of the prophecy in this book. Look, I come like a thief! Blessed is the one who stays awake and remains clothed, so as not to go naked and be shamefully exposed.”
–Jesus Christ (Revelation 22:7, Revelation 16:15)
Genesis provides an image of the ideal marriage: One man. One woman. In a one-flesh relationship. For life. These four elements constitute the ideal, as Jesus reminds His followers (Matthew 19:4–5). Anything less, anything more, or anything other misses the ideal. In marriage two individuals, who once lived as “me,” come together as “we” in one flesh and one life. No earthly bond can match the intimacy of this divinely sanctioned union.
But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart. –But each person is tempted when they are dragged away by their own evil desire and enticed.
(Matthew 5:28, James 1:14)
The One who calls you is faithful, and He will do it — No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear.
(1 Thessalonians 5:24, 1 Corinthians 10:13)
While our enemies pretend, they have proven repeatedly that they want nothing less than the complete destruction of God’s chosen ones. We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love one another. The person who does not love remains spiritually dead. (1 John 3:14)
When our enemies saw that they could not defeat us militarily, they resorted to the age old anti-Christ tactic of telling lies. This is their warfare and so much of today’s media is quick to spread this deceit as truth. This is how they try to defeat us. Who can protect from such vicious lies?
The answer, of course, is God. One day the truth will become clear, and until that time, God will protect His people.
Judgment and the Love of God
If Jesus ever commanded us to do something that He was unable to equip us to accomplish, He would be a liar. And if we make our own inability a stumbling block or an excuse not to be obedient, it means that we are telling God that there is something which He has not yet taken into account. Every element of our own self-reliance must be put to death by the power of God. The moment we recognize our complete weakness and our dependence upon Him will be the very moment that the Spirit of God will exhibit His power.
(Oswald Chambers, “My Utmost For His Highest”)
The Woman, Her Son, and the Dragon
A great Sign appeared in Heaven: a Woman dressed all in sunlight, standing on the moon, and crowned with Twelve Stars. She was giving birth to a Child and cried out in the pain of childbirth.
And then another Sign alongside the first: a huge and fiery Dragon! It had seven heads and ten horns, a crown on each of the seven heads. With one flick of its tail it knocked a third of the Stars from the sky and dumped them on earth. The Dragon crouched before the Woman in childbirth, poised to eat up the Child when it came.
The Woman gave birth to a Son who will shepherd all nations with an iron rod. Her Son was seized and placed safely before God on his Throne. The Woman herself escaped to the desert to a place of safety prepared by God, all comforts provided her for 1,260 days.
War broke out in Heaven. Michael and his Angels fought the Dragon. The Dragon and his Angels fought back, but were no match for Michael. They were cleared out of Heaven, not a sign of them left. The great Dragon—ancient Serpent, the one called Devil and Satan, the one who led the whole earth astray—thrown out, and all his Angels thrown out with him, thrown down to earth. Then I heard a strong voice out of Heaven saying,
Salvation and power are established!
Kingdom of our God, authority of His Messiah!
The Accuser of our brothers and sisters thrown out,
who accused them day and night before God.
They defeated him through the blood of the Lamb
and the bold word of their witness.
They weren’t in love with themselves;
they were willing to die for Christ.
So rejoice, O Heavens, and all who live there,
but doom to earth and sea,
For the Devil’s come down on you with both feet;
he’s had a great fall;
He’s wild and raging with anger;
he hasn’t much time and he knows it.
When the Dragon saw he’d been thrown to earth, he went after the Woman who had given birth to the Man-Child. The Woman was given wings of a great eagle to fly to a place in the desert to be kept in safety and comfort for a time and times and half a time, safe and sound from the Serpent. The Serpent vomited a river of water to swamp and drown her, but earth came to her help, swallowing the water the Dragon spewed from its mouth. Helpless with rage, the Dragon raged at the Woman, then went off to make war with the rest of her children, the children who keep God’s commands and hold firm to the witness of Jesus.
(Revelation 12) All your children will be taught by the LORD, and your children will have unlimited peace. (Isaiah 54:13) It is written in the Prophets: ‘They will all be taught by God.‘ Everyone who has heard the Father and learned from Him comes to He. —Jesus Christ No longer will they teach their neighbor, or say to one another, ‘Know the Lord,’ because they will all know Me, from the least of them to the greatest. No longer will they teach their neighbor, or say to one another, ‘Know the LORD,’ because they will all know Me, from the least of them to the greatest,” declares the LORD. “For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more.”
(John 6:45, Hebrews 8:11, Jeremiah 31:34)
The promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off--for all whom the Lord our God will call. (Acts 2:39)
Worship only God. For the essence of prophecy is to give a clear witness for Jesus.
Believe in the Lord your God and you shall be established; believe and remain steadfast to His prophets and you shall prosper. (2 Chronicles 20:20b)
“But now listen, Jacob, My servant,Israel, whom I have chosen.
This is what the Lord says—
He who made you, who formed you in the womb,and who will help you:
Do not be afraid, Jacob, My servant, Jeshurun, whom I have chosen.
For I will pour water on the thirsty land,and streams on the dry ground;
I will pour out My Spirit on your offspring,and My blessing on your descendants.
They will spring up like grass in a meadow,like poplar trees by flowing streams.
Some will say, ‘I belong to the Lord’;others will call themselves by the name of Jacob;
still others will write on their hand, ‘The Lord’s,’and will take the name Israel.
(Isaiah 44:1-5) –The Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept Him, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him. But you know Him, for He lives with you and will be in you.
(John 16:13) See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know Him. Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when Christ appears, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. All who have this hope in Him purify themselves, just as He is pure. (1 John 3:1-3)
Then many nations will come and say, “Let’s go to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob. He will teach us His ways so that we may live by them.” The teachings will go out from Zion. The Word of the LORD will go out from Jerusalem.
“Look, I am coming soon! My reward is with Me, and I will give to each person according to what they have done.” (Revelation 22:12)
He who testifies to these things says, “Yes, I am coming soon.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.” (Revelation 22;20)
