The LORD God formed the man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being. The Spirit of God has made me; the breath of the Almighty gives me life.
Psalm 113:7, Job 33:4
O LORD, the hope of Israel, all who forsake You will be put to shame. Those who turn away from you will be written in the dust because they have forsaken the LORD, the spring of living water.
“The Lord bless you and keep you–the Lord make His face shine upon you, and be gracious unto you; the Lord lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace.”
The first man was of the dust of the earth, the second man from heaven. So it is written: “The first man Adam became a living being”; the last Adam, a life-giving spirit.
1 Corinthians 14:47, 45
But the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the LORD’s glory like the water covers the sea. No longer will a man teach his neighbor, or a man his brother, saying, ‘Know the LORD,’ because they will all know Me, from the least of them to the greatest,” declares the LORD. “For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more.” All the ends of the earth will remember and turn to the LORD, and all the families of the nations will bow down before Him. And the glory of the LORD will be revealed, and all mankind together will see it. For the mouth of the LORD has spoken.
Habakkuk 2:14, Jeremiah 31:34, Psalm 22:27, Isaiah 40:5
The LORD will be king over the whole earth. On that day there will be one LORD, and His name the only name.
And now the Sovereign Lord has sent me, endowed with His Spirit.
This is what the Lord says—your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel:
“I am the Lord your God, who teaches you what is best for you, who directs you in the way you should go.
If only you had paid attention to My commands, your peace would have been like a river, your well-being like the waves of the sea.
Your descendants would have been like the sand, your children like its numberless grains; their name would never be blotted out
nor destroyed from before Me.”
Leave Babylon, flee from the Babylonians! Announce this with shouts of joy and proclaim it.
Send it out to the ends of the earth; say, “The Lord has redeemed his servant Jacob.”
They did not thirst when He led them through the deserts; He made water flow for them from the rock;
He split the rock and water gushed out.
“There is no peace,” says the Lord, “for the wicked.”
Isaiah 48:17 -22
COLUMBINE STUDENT’S FATHER 12 YEARS LATER !!
Guess our national leaders didn’t expect this. On Thursday, Darrell Scott, the father of Rachel Scott, a victim of the Columbine High School shootings in Littleton, Colorado, was invited to address the House Judiciary Committee’s subcommittee. What he said to our national leaders during this special session of Congress was painfully truthful.
They were not prepared for what he was to say, nor was it received well. It needs to be heard by every parent, every teacher, every politician, every sociologist, every psychologist, and every so-called expert! These courageous words spoken by Darrell Scott are powerful, penetrating, and deeply personal. There is no doubt that God sent this man as a voice crying in the wilderness.. The following is a portion of the transcript:
“Since the dawn of creation there has been both good & evil in the hearts of men and women. We all contain the seeds of kindness or the seeds of violence. The death of my wonderful daughter, Rachel Joy Scott, and the deaths of that heroic teacher, and the other eleven children who died must not be in vain. Their blood cries out for answers.
“The first recorded act of violence was when Cain slew his brother Abel out in the field. The villain was not the club he used.. Neither was it the NCA, the National Club Association. The true killer was Cain, and the reason for the murder could only be found in Cain’s heart.
“In the days that followed the Columbine tragedy, I was amazed at how quickly fingers began to be pointed at groups such as the NRA. I am not a member of the NRA. I am not a hunter. I do not even own a gun. I am not here to represent or defend the NRA – because I don’t believe that they are responsible for my daughter’s death. Therefore I do not believe that they need to be defended. If I believed they had anything to do with Rachel’s murder I would be their strongest opponent
I am here today to declare that Columbine was not just a tragedy — it was a spiritual event that should be forcing us to look at where the real blame lies! Much of the blame lies here in this room. Much of the blame lies behind the pointing fingers of the accusers themselves. I wrote a poem just four nights ago that expresses my feelings best.
Your laws ignore our deepest needs,
Your words are empty air.
You’ve stripped away our heritage,
You’ve outlawed simple prayer.
Now gunshots fill our classrooms,
And precious children die.
You seek for answers everywhere,
And ask the question “Why?”
You regulate restrictive laws,
Through legislative creed.
And yet you fail to understand,
That God is what we need!
“Men and women are three-part beings. We all consist of body, mind, and spirit. When we refuse to acknowledge a third part of our make-up, we create a void that allows evil, prejudice, and hatred to rush in and wreak havoc. Spiritual presences were present within our educational systems for most of our nation’s history. Many of our major colleges began as theological seminaries. This is a historical fact. What has happened to us as a nation? We have refused to honor God, and in so doing, we open the doors to hatred and violence. And when something as terrible as Columbine’s tragedy occurs — politicians immediately look for a scapegoat such as the NRA. They immediately seek to pass more restrictive laws that contribute to erode away our personal and private liberties. We do not need more restrictive laws. Eric and Dylan would not have been stopped by metal detectors. No amount of gun laws can stop someone who spends months planning this type of massacre. The real villain lies within our own hearts.
“As my son Craig lay under that table in the school library and saw his two friends murdered before his very eyes, he did not hesitate to pray in school. I defy any law or politician to deny him that right! I challenge every young person in America , and around the world, to realize that on April 20, 1999, at Columbine High School prayer was brought back to our schools. Do not let the many prayers offered by those students be in vain. Dare to move into the new millennium with a sacred disregard for legislation that violates your God-given right to communicate with Him. To those of you who would point your finger at the NRA — I give to you a sincere challenge.. Dare to examine your own heart before casting the first stone!
My daughter’s death will not be in vain! The young people of this country will not allow that to happen!”

Do what the media did not – – let the nation hear this man’s speech. Please send this out to everyone you can.
When You hide Your face, they are terrified; when You take away their breath, they die and return to the dust.
When You send Your Spirit, they are created, and You renew the face of the earth.
Then He said to me, “Prophesy to the breath; prophesy, son of man, and say to it, ‘This is what the Sovereign LORD says: Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe into these slain, that they may live.’“
So I prophesied as He commanded me, and breath entered them; they came to life and stood up on their feet–a vast army.
Psalm 104:29-30, Ezekiel 37-9-10
He raises the poor from the dust and lifts the needy from the ash heap; He seats them with princes and has them inherit a throne of honor. “For the foundations of the earth are the LORD’s; upon them He has set the world.”
But He lifted the needy out of their affliction and increased their families like flocks.
1 Samuel 2:8, Palm 107:41
You who serve God, praise God!
Just to speak his name is praise!
Just to remember God is a blessing—
now and tomorrow and always.
From east to west, from dawn to dusk,
keep lifting all your praises to God!
God is higher than anything and anyone,
outshining everything you can see in the skies.
Who can compare with God, our God,
so majestically enthroned,
Surveying his magnificent
heavens and earth?
He picks up the poor from out of the dirt,
rescues the wretched who’ve been thrown out with the trash,
Seats them among the honored guests,
a place of honor among the brightest and best.
He gives childless couples a family,
gives them joy as the parents of children.
This is what the Sovereign LORD says to these bones: I will make breath enter you, and you will come to life.
But your dead will live; their bodies will rise. You who dwell in the dust, wake up and shout for joy. Your dew is like the dew of the morning; the earth will give birth to her dead. Then you, my people, will know that I am the LORD, when I open your graves and bring you up from them. But God will redeem my life from the grave; he will surely take me to himself. Selah
“Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?”
One thing have I asked of the Lord, that will I seek, inquire for, and insistently require: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord in His presence all the days of my life, to behold and gaze upon the beauty the sweet attractiveness and the delightful loveliness of the Lord and to meditate, consider, and inquire in His temple.
it’s really very simple—there’s only one thing we need–
In spite of our human limitations, God is not limited. He is almighty and nothing is impossible with God. The things that are impossible with men are possible with God!
I want to follow You way, oh God. I pray that I may learn that walking in agreement with You in accordance with Your Word which is Your perfect Will is perfect freedom for Your unfailing Love is perfecting me to walk blamelessly in spirit and in truth.
A Psalm of David.
The Lord is my Shepherd to feed, guide, and shield me, I shall not lack.
He makes me lie down in fresh, tender green pastures; He leads me beside the still and restful waters.
He refreshes and restores my life (my self); He leads me in the paths of righteousness uprightness and right standing with Him—not for my earning it, but for His name’s sake.
Yes, though I walk through the deep, sunless valley of the shadow of death, I will fear or dread no evil, for You are with me; Your rod to protect and Your staff to guide, they comfort me.
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my brimming cup runs over.
Surely or only goodness, mercy, and unfailing love shall follow me all the days of my life, and through the length of my days the house of the Lord and His presence shall be my dwelling place
