Now the Holy Spirit tells us clearly that in the last times some will turn away from the true faith; they will follow deceptive spirits and teachings that come from demons.
1 Timothy 4:1
But you, be strong and do not let your hands be weak, for your work shall be rewarded.
2 Chronicles 15:7
He told them, “Because you have so little faith. I can guarantee this truth: If your faith is the size of a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.“? In speaking of the demon[He said that this goes away only by prayer and fasting.]
He replied, “If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted and planted in the sea,’ and it will obey you.”
Deliver me, O my God, from the hand of the wicked, from the grasp of evil and cruel men. For You have been my hope, O Sovereign LORD, my Confidence since my youth.
Psalm 71:4, Psalm 71:5
Wait for the LORD; be strong and take heart and wait for the LORD. Be strong and take heart, all you who hope in the LORD.
Psalm 27:14, Psalm 31:24
Wherefore David blessed the LORD before all the congregation: and David said,
“Blessed be thou, LORD God of Israel our father, for ever and ever.
Thine, O LORD, is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is Thine; Thine is the kingdom, O LORD, and Thou art exalted as head above all.
Both riches and honor come of Thee, and Thou reigns over all; and in Thine hand is power and might; and in Thine hand it is to make great, and to give strength unto all.
Now therefore, our God, we thank Thee, and praise Thy glorious name.
(from I Chronicles 29)
…this Ezra came up from Babylon. He was a teacher well versed in the Law of Moses, which the LORD, the God of Israel, had given. The king had granted him everything he asked, for the hand of the LORD his God was on him. Because the hand of the LORD my God was on me, I took courage and gathered leading men from Israel to go up with me. (Ezra 7:6,28)
Then I told them that my God had been guiding me and what the king had told me. They replied, “Let’s begin to rebuild.” So they encouraged one another to begin this God-pleasing work. And because the gracious hand of my God was upon me, the king granted my requests.
Nehemiah 2:18, 8
And Saul’s son Jonathan went to David at Horesh and helped him find strength in God. David was greatly distressed because the men were talking of stoning him; each one was bitter in spirit because of his sons and daughters. But David found strength in the LORD his God.
1 Samuel 23:16, 1 Samuel 30:6 D
Also in Judah the hand of God was on the people to give them unity of mind to carry out what the king and his officials had ordered, following the word of the LORD.
2 Chronicles 30:12
We know that God doesn’t listen to sinners, but He is ready to hear those who worship Him and do His will.
Indeed, God does not listen to their empty plea; the Almighty pays no attention to it. The eyes of the LORD are on the righteous and His ears are attentive to their cry.
Job 35:13, Psalm 34:15
If I had cherished sin in my heart, the Lord would not have listened. He fulfills the desires of those who fear Him; He hears their cry and saves them. The LORD is far from the wicked but He hears the prayer of the righteous. If anyone turns a deaf ear to the law, even his prayers are detestable.
Psalm 66:18, Psalm 145:19, Proverbs 15:29, Proverbs 28:9
Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective. And receive from Him anything we ask, because we obey His commands and do what pleases Him.
James 5:16, 1 John 3:22
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. It takes faith and patience to inherit the promises of God. Those
that come to God must believe that He is and that He rewards those who diligently seek Him.
Therefore, the promise comes by faith, so that it may be by grace and may be guaranteed to all Abraham’s offspring—not only to those who are of the law but also to those who have the faith of Abraham. He is the father of us all. As it is written: “I have made you a father of many nations.” He is our father in the sight of God, in whom He believed—the God who gives life to the dead and calls into being things that were not.
Against all hope, Abraham in hope believed and so became the father of many nations, just as it had been said to him, “So shall your offspring be.” Without weakening in his faith, he faced the fact that his body was as good as dead—since he was about a hundred years old—and that Sarah’s womb was also dead. Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God, being fully persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised. This is why “it was credited to him as righteousness.” The words “it was credited to him” were written not for him alone, but also for us, to whom God will credit righteousness—for us who believe in him who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead.
He was delivered over to death for our sins and was raised to life for our justification.
To write seventeen in Hebrew, they wrote two Hebrew letters: yod-zayin. It signifies the hand (outworking) of spiritual weaponry, which gives us the victory.
Dear friends, you always followed my instructions when I was with you. And now that I am away, it is even more important. Work hard to show the results of your salvation, obeying God with deep reverence and fear. For God is carefully working in you both to desire and to do that thing which you desire.
Jesus is the author (pioneer) and finisher (perfecter) of our faith.
This is the victory that overcomes the world–even our faith.
And, once made perfect, He became the source of eternal salvation for all who obey Him.
1 John 3:22
“Though he were a Son, yet learned He obedience by the things which He suffered.”
See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know Him. Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when Christ appears, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. All who have this hope in Him purify themselves, just as He is pure.
Everyone who sins breaks the law; in fact, sin is lawlessness. But you know that He appeared so that He might take away our sins. And in Him is no sin. No one who lives in Him keeps on sinning. No one who continues to sin has either seen Him or known Him.
Dear children, do not let anyone lead you astray. The one who does what is right is righteous, just as He is righteous. The one who does what is sinful is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil’s work. No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God’s seed remains in them; they cannot go on sinning, because they have been born of God. This is how we know who the children of God are and who the children of the devil are: Anyone who does not do what is right is not God’s child, nor is anyone who does not love their brother and sister.
More on Love and Hatred
For this is the message you heard from the beginning: We should love one another. Do not be like Cain, who belonged to the evil one and murdered his brother. And why did he murder him? Because his own actions were evil and his brother’s were righteous. Do not be surprised, my brothers and sisters, if the world hates you. We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love each other. Anyone who does not love remains in death. Anyone who hates a brother or sister is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life residing in him.
This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters. If anyone has material possessions and sees a brother or sister in need but has no pity on them, how can the love of God be in that person? Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.
This is how we know that we belong to the truth and how we set our hearts at rest in His presence: If our hearts condemn us, we know that God is greater than our hearts, and He knows everything. Dear friends, if our hearts do not condemn us, we have confidence before God and receive from Him anything we ask, because we keep his commands and do what pleases him. And this is His command: to believe in the name of His Son, Jesus Christ, and to love one another as He commanded us.
The one who keeps God’s commands lives in Him, and He in them. And this is how we know that he lives in us: We know it by the Spirit he gave us.
1 John 3:1-24
This is how faith really works–by the unfailing love of God’s enduring truth. God so loved the world that He gave His only Son that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life. This is the work of God that you believe.
God’s love never fails and this is the Victory that overcomes the world even our faith. Jesus is the victor. He declared,
“it is finished.”
As we believe, we receive the outworking of our faith by the power of God’s Holy Spirit pouring out His unfailing love in and through us. Nothing can separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord who saves us. He who endures to the end shall be saved because it takes faith and patience (endurance) to inherit. IF we shrink back or turn away in fear, doubt or unbelief we are not really believing God. God is God and He can not lie. Jesus is the same from everlasting to everlasting He is Lord.
That we may be one in Him (John 17) is the final victory. This is when all enemies are under His feet for He has washed our feet and we are made whole, complete in Christ. When we realize that the place where we stand is holy to the LORD and stand firmly placed
in Christ Jesus we are receiving the victory that is only found in Him. As Jesus walked (lived) so do we. Jesus went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil for God was with Him. The same Holy Spirit who raised Christ from the grave lives in our mortal bodies and leads and guides us every step of the way. We are Christ’s bride who is part of His own body…as a man cherishes his own body even as Christ loved the church and gave Himself for her…washing her with the water of His Word. The bride has made herself ready, she is receiving the end of her faith by the power of Christ’s Holy Spirit who is
helping and comforting us in all things. All things work together for good …
Jesus has already paid the price for our freedom—we who have the earnest of His Holy Spirit—represent “answered prayers”
for Christ while on the Cross prayed, “Father forgive them they know not what they are doing.” Jesus prayed for us even
before we were conceived (John 17 that we may be ONE). Even now Jesus is praying for us (He ever lives to intercede …
We know not to pray as we …but the SPIRIT intercedes for us…God will perfect that which concerns me…He gives us all
that we need that pertains to life and godliness through knowing Him.
THIS is the VICTORY that overcomes the world—even our faith. We know that nothing can separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus and He has prayed and is praying for us and His Holy Spirit is working with our spirits and this is the WITNESS.
Out of the mouth of two or three witnesses is every word confirmed and established.s.
This is the VICTORY; NOW is the DAY of SALVATION.
Jesus has already won! We are more than conquerors in Christ Jesus
who gave HIMSELF for us. We stand in faith knowing that all things are working together to come to fruition in Him working out
His Word spoken prophetically in us. We simply agree with Him declaring the TRUTH. It is finished! We are receiving the END of our faith. We don’t back off we stand firm, steadfast, faithful to the end. His love never fails. He is Faithful and True and He is with us always even to the End. Apart from Him we can do nothing but all things are possible with God. His love never fails.
Faith works by Love (the unfailing love of God). Love is the Way to Freedom for who the Son sets FREE is really free.
Nothing can separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus!
Being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.
His Mercy triumphs over Judgement. Thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph.
A psalm. Sing a new song to the LORD, for He has done wonderful deeds. His right hand has won a mighty victory; His holy arm has shown His saving power!
The LORD will lay bare His holy arm in the sight of all the nations, and all the ends of the earth will see the salvation of our God. He saw that there was no one, He was appalled that there was no one to intervene; so His own arm worked salvation for Him, and His own righteousness sustained Him.
Isaiah 52:10, Isaiah 59:16
But be glad and rejoice forever in what I will create, for I will create Jerusalem to be a delight and its people a joy.
The LORD of Heaven’s Armies has spoken–who can change His plans? When His hand is raised, who can stop Him?”
O LORD, God of our fathers, are You not the God who is in heaven? You rule over all the kingdoms of the nations. Power and might are in Your hand, and no one can withstand You. Many are the plans in a man’s heart, but it is the LORD’s purpose that prevails.
“Yes, and from ancient days I am He. No one can deliver out of My hand. When I act, who can reverse it?” Those who escape the sword and return to the land of Judah from Egypt will be very few. Then the whole remnant of Judah who came to live in Egypt will know whose word will stand–Mine or theirs.
2 Chronicles 20:6, Proverbs 19:21, Isaiah 43:13, Jeremiah 44:28
All the peoples of the earth are regarded as nothing. He does as He pleases with the powers of heaven and the peoples of the earth. No one can hold back His hand or say to Him: “What have you done?“
And they sang a new song: “You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals, because you were slain, and with your blood you purchased men for God from every tribe and language and people and nation.” Your right hand, O LORD, was majestic in power. Your right hand, O LORD, shattered the enemy. Your arm is endued with power; Your hand is strong, Your right hand exalted. O LORD, You are my God; I will exalt You and praise Your name, for in perfect faithfulness You have done marvelous things, things planned long ago.
