Unless the LORD had given me help, I would soon have dwelt in the silence of death.
Then I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying,
“Now the salvation, power, kingdom of our God, and the authority of His Messiah have come. The one accusing our brothers and sisters, the one accusing them day and night in the presence of our God, has been thrown out.”
What if the LORD had not been on our side when people attacked us? –when their anger flared against us, they would have swallowed us alive.
The LORD will destroy Babylon; He will silence her noisy din. Waves of enemies will rage like great waters; the roar of their voices will resound.
Psalm 124:2-3, Jeremiah 51:55
Doing Good to All
Brothers and sisters, if someone is caught in a sin, you who live by the Spirit should restore that person gently. But watch yourselves, or you also may be tempted. Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ. If anyone thinks they are something when they are not, they deceive themselves. Each one should test their own actions. Then they can take pride in themselves alone, without comparing themselves to someone else, for each one should carry their own load. Nevertheless, the one who receives instruction in the word should share all good things with their instructor.
Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.
The voice of the LORD is over the waters; the God of glory thunders, the LORD thunders over the mighty waters.
He sends from heaven and saves me, rebuking those who hotly pursue me; Selah God sends His love and His faithfulness.
He reached down from high above and took hold of me.
He pulled me out of the raging water.
Therefore let everyone who is godly pray to You while You may be found; surely when the mighty waters rise, they will not reach him.
Psalm 29:3, Psalm 57:3, Psalm 18:16, Psalm 32:6
He sent from above – He interposed to save me.
All these manifestations of the divine interposition were from above, or from heaven; all came from God.
He took me – He took hold on me; He rescued me.
He drew me out of many waters – great waters.
Waters are often expressive of calamity and trouble.
The meaning here is, that God had rescued him out of the many troubles and dangers that encompassed him, as if he had fallen into the sea and was in danger of perishing.
(Barnes’ Notes on the Bible)
Men are not cast off by the Lord forever.
Though He causes grief, He will show compassion,
SO GREAT IS HIS UNFAILING LOVE.
They want an easy way to look good before others, lacking the courage to live by a faith that shares Christ’s suffering and death. All their talk about the law is gas. They themselves don’t keep the law! And they are highly selective in the laws they do observe. They only want you to be circumcised so they can boast of their success in recruiting you to their side. That is contemptible!
For my part, I am going to boast about nothing but the Cross of our Master, Jesus Christ. Because of that Cross, I have been crucified in relation to the world, set free from the stifling atmosphere of pleasing others and fitting into the little patterns that they dictate. Can’t you see the central issue in all this? It is not what you and I do—submit to circumcision, reject circumcision. It is what God is doing, and He is creating something totally new, a free life!
All who walk by this standard are the true Israel of God—His chosen people. Peace and mercy on them!
It is not man’s good intentions that will produce results in even the most difficult of circumstances.
It is only God who can do that.
And God reaches down to intervene in response to our PRAYING.
BLESSED are ALL those who put their TRUST in Him.
Even as Gideon — who was hiding but the angel of the LORD greeted him
saying, “the Lord is WITH you, Mighty Warrior!”
I am nothing more than a lump of clay.
Apart from Him I can do nothing!
If your name is not found written in the Lamb’s Book of Life,
it is as dust in the wind.
And yet, Lord, you are our Father. We are the clay, and You are the potter. We are all formed by Your hand.

who GOD uses
There is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death. Commit your way to the LORD, Trust also in Him, and He will do it. When a man’s ways please the LORD, He makes even his enemies to be at peace with him.
Proverbs 14:12 – Psalm 37:5 – Proverbs 16:7
FEAR NOT ONLY BELIEVE
For The Eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him.
For the Eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and His ears are open to their prayers; but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.
But the Eyes of the Lord are on those who fear Him, on those whose hope is in His unfailing love.
2 Chronicles 16:9, 1 Peter 3:12, Psalm 33:18
When your loyalties conflict, always obey Jesus Christ whatever the cost.
He sent forth His Word and healed them; He rescued them from the grave.
