For the Lord is the Spirit, and wherever the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. Your love, O Lord, reaches to the heavens, Your faithfulness to the skies.
2 Corinthians 3:17, Psalm 36:5
There is no limit to how far God can reach. His arm is not too short to save, to heal and to deliver from sin and death
for He ever lives to intercede for us. His ear is not dull of hearing and His eyes go to and from throughout the whole
earth looking for the one in which to show Himself strong for the joy of the Lord is our strength and in His presence
is the infilling of His joy.
Our cares divide, distract, and steal the quietness of our mind. Prayer drives worry away and saves us from worrying over things we can’t change as we focus on Jesus who is the Author of Life and the Perfecter of Faith. It takes faith and endurance to inherit the promises of God and we fix our eyes our perspective as we stand in Him.
Not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord.
The peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts. For He Himself is our peace, who has made the two groups one and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility.
Philippians 4:7, Ephesians 2:14
I love Your dwelling place, the place where Your glory resides.
Oh, Lord may I not desire the world’s applause and may I not seek rewards for doing right for You are my shield and my exceedingly great reward. The Lord’s portion is His people and the Lord knows those who are His. (2 Timothy 2:9)
Father, I bring all my cares, worries, and anxieties to You and I leave them at Your feet… please give me Your peace today. In Jesus Name, Amen!
Jesus came to break the curse of sin and death and restore us back into the family of God. Jesus said that His family are those that not only hear God but do as He says.
If we walk (live) in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another and the blood of Jesus cleanses from all unrighteousness. If Jesus doesn’t wash us, we have no part in Him. Men don’t come to the light because they love the darkness and their wicked ways more than they love God. God doesn’t bless mess for He is not the author of confusion but of peace! Great peace have all that love His law and nothing causes them to stumble.
Relationship was broken through the FALL of man. The curse entered through the fall.
Things to Avoid
What is the source of quarrels and conflicts among you? Is not the source your pleasures that wage war in your members? You lust and do not have; so you commit murder. You are envious and cannot obtain; so you fight and quarrel. You do not have because you do not ask. You ask and do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it on your pleasures. You adulteresses, do you not know that friendship with the world is hostility toward God? Therefore whoever wishes to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God. Or do you think that the Scripture speaks to no purpose: “He jealously desires the Spirit which He has made to dwell in us”? But He gives a greater grace.” Therefore it says, “GOD IS OPPOSED TO THE PROUD, BUT GIVES GRACE TO THE HUMBLE.” Submit therefore to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. Be miserable and mourn and weep; let your laughter be turned into mourning and your joy to gloom. Humble yourselves in the presence of the Lord, and He will exalt you.
Therefore, curse-filled relationships are due to selfish desires.
But joy-full relationships come from walking in agreement with the will of God.
For in His presence is fullness of Joy. How can two walk together unless they agree?
At the very core the root of all truly meaningful relationships are shared values, unselfish love and openness. The curse brings in walls that are erected against the unfailing love of God and His enduring truth. They hold people back from knowing true peace and love seeking to hide in the walls that keep others out, hiding behind closed doors and imprisoned by their own thoughts and ways.
True love seeks not his own way! For true love reaches out to draw another closer to the Source of all Love–Jesus the Christ! We are enabled to love because He first loved us and gave Himself for us to purify us and make us a people prepared for His Holy Spirit to indwell and fill them with His unfailing love and enduring truth forever His.
We love because it is more blessed to give than to receive.
The blessing comes in being broken to allow the lines of communication to share His truth that is alive in our hearts to show He who is the way back home to the Father in love.
There is no room for rejection because we are accepted in the Beloved Son of God who alone takes away the curse of sin and death.
Again if we walk (live) in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another and the blood of Jesus cleanses us from all unrighteousness. Who the Son sets free is really free!
You will know the truth and the truth will make you free!
Jesus said that the one thing necessary is to love God and your neighbor.
Without relationship people waste away and die.
You cannot buy love with any amount of money or sustain it with materialism but true love goes the distance and nothing can separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus the Lord. Our true purpose is only found in our Creator and walking in agreement with His will.
We were not placed here to perform but to live in relationship with God and man.
This is not a competition or a game but a family and His household members are to be as One as Jesus was in agreement with the Father and came not to do his own will but to fulfill the Father’s will. We are to be His house of prayer for the nations not a man-cave of thieves each seeking his own way.
The Lord, The Lord, the compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness, maintaining love to thousands, and forgiving wickedness, rebellion, and sin. Yet He does not leave the leave the guilty unpunished.
“These are My appointed feasts, the appointed feasts of the LORD, which you are to proclaim as sacred assemblies.” Leviticus 23:2
Taste and see that the Lord is good; no good thing does He withhold from those who walk uprightly with Him. The Lord is giving us time to get right with Him to examine the condition of our hearts and lives and return to Him in love. Each one of us needs to repent and ask forgiveness for the many errors we make that hurt ourselves and others.
Let us examine our ways and test them, and let us return to the LORD.
Asking for forgiveness is pivotal to repentance, a closer walk with God and to successful relationships with our family, friends and fellowman. It is also important to leaving the past behind and moving forward with God’s plan for our lives.
“For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.”
Since fallen human nature leads to sin and unforgiveness, God provides us this special time to focus on repentance and forgiveness.
When the woman who was wasting away in sickness and outcast from society, saw Jesus she knew if she could just take hold of the hem of His robe she would be made whole and walk in newness of life together with God and man. Just the touch and Word of Jesus raised up Jairus’ daughter to walk and eat and grow up in the knowledge of God.
It’s high time to wake from our spiritual slumber and make the most of our time by loving and following God with all our heart, soul, mind and strength, rather than following empty or frivolous pursuits.
