He made my mouth like a sharpened sword, in the shadow of His hand He hid me; He made me into a polished arrow and concealed me in His quiver. God’s word is living and active. It is sharper than any two-edged sword and cuts as deep as the place where soul and spirit meet, the place where joints and marrow meet. God’s Word judges a person’s thoughts and intentions.
Isaiah 49:2, Hebrews 4:12
Many are asking, “Who can show us any good?” Let the light of your face shine upon us, O LORD.
“Our protection and prosperity does not come from the sword, or microchip or factories,” says Peter J. Daniels, “but from the hand of God.”
CAN I BE REAL WITH YOU?
Open criticism is better than hidden love.
You can trust what your friend says, even when it hurts. But your enemies want to hurt you, even when they act nice.
People use fire to purify gold and silver. In the same way, you are tested by the praise people give you.
Even if you pound fools to powder like grain in a bowl, you will never force the foolishness out of them.
There is a judge for the one who rejects Me and does not accept My words; that very word which I spoke will condemn him at the last day.
Lord give me the joy of living in the NOW, Your omnipresence 24/7.
May my day be filled with thanksgiving and praise as Your Spirit fills my being with the joy of my salvation in Christ Jesus. For Your joy strengthens me and Your gifts enable me to go on with no regrets only confidence. Your unfailing love and enduring truth are the my traveling companions as I journey home. Your Word enlightens my path so that I am not cast down helpless. No matter where I am or who I am with, You are there. Amen.
Just as you can see your own face reflected in water, so your heart reflects the kind of person you are. Because I am righteous, I will see you. When I awake, I will see you face to face and be satisfied.
Proverbs 27:19, Psalm 17:15
May God Himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
1 Thessalonians 5:23
Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when He appears, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. They will see His face, and His name will be on their foreheads. For you have been born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the living and enduring word of God.
