Have you considered that God loved you so much that He devised a way to bless you before you were created? Not only for your sake, but we read in Isaiah 43:25 that
“I, even I, am He who blots out your transgressions for My own sake.”
With a tremendous desire to include you in His eternal plans, God predestined you to be adopted as His son through Christ Jesus. It was His good pleasure to lavish His grace upon you, redeeming you, forgiving your sins and making you accepted in the Beloved.
As if this was not enough, in Him you have an inheritance and you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise to the praise of His Glory!
Don’t you know that your body is the temple of Almighty God, that you were created for His glory? A carrier of the Anointed One, a holy vessel set aside for the express purpose of spreading the good news of the love of God, in word and in deed?
Lighting dark places, giving hope to the hopeless, allowing the presence of the Lord within you to be seen in your actions, countenance and words?
As He has loved, forgiven and accepted us–so that we could have a future–let us become a catalyst in our community, so that they too can know the love and blessing of the Lord.
Dear Father God, I thank You for every spiritual gift, not because I deserved it, but in Your great mercy and grace You chose to freely give it. Therefore, let me be a vessel of Your glory, so that Your love and salvation may be spread abroad among our community.
In the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
