Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord.
Open the gates that the righteous nation may enter, the nation that keeps faith.
A fire goes before Him and consumes up all His enemies.
Nothing can succeed against the Lord.
Embrace the purging fire of His jealous love for you His precious child and allow it to remove the dross and all that is holding you back from loving Him fully in purity and wholeness.
Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
GIVE THANKS TO THE LORD FOR HIS LOVE ENDURES FOREVER.
THERE IS NO FEAR IN LOVE FOR HIS PERFECT LOVE DRIVES OUT ALL FEAR.
NOTHING CAN SEPARATE US FROM THE UNFAILING LOVE OF GOD WHICH IS IN CHRIST JESUS, OUR LORD AND SAVIOR TO HIM BE PRAISE, HONOR AND GLORY FOREVER, AMEN.
This is what the Lord says to you:
‘Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army.
For the battle is not yours, but God’s.
You will not have to fight this battle. Take up your positions; stand firm and see the deliverance the Lord will give you.
Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.
Go out to face them tomorrow, and the Lord will be with you.’”
(2 Chronicles 20)
For the battle belongs to the Lord and the weapons of our warfare are not carnal (of man’s origins and making) but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God.
He will make your righteousness shine like the dawn, the justice of your cause like the noonday sun.
Righteousness goes before him and prepares the way for his steps.
The moon will shine like the sun, and the sunlight will be seven times brighter, like the light of seven full days, when the LORD binds up the bruises of his people and heals the wounds He inflicted.
These healing Bible verses will remind you that God hears your every prayer.
Then your light will break through like the dawn, and you will heal quickly. Your righteousness will go ahead of you, and the glory of the LORD will guard you from behind.
A Call to Repentance
“Come, let us return to the Lord.
He has torn us to pieces; now He will heal us.
He has injured us; now He will bandage our wounds.
In just a short time He will restore us, so that we may live in His presence.
Oh, that we might know the Lord! Let us press on to know Him.
He will respond to us as surely as the arrival of dawn or the coming of rains in early spring.”
No one living in Zion will say, “I am ill“; and the sins of those who dwell there will be forgiven.
When they walk through the Valley of Weeping, it will become a place of refreshing springs. The autumn rains will clothe it with blessings.
In a very short time, will not Lebanon be turned into a fertile field and the fertile field seem like a forest?
Be glad, O people of Zion, rejoice in the LORD your God, for He has given you the autumn rains in righteousness. He sends you abundant showers, both autumn and spring rains, as before.
And if you spend yourselves in behalf of the hungry and satisfy the needs of the oppressed, then your light will rise in the darkness, and your night will become like the noonday.
Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD rises upon you.
For Zion’s sake I will not keep silent, for Jerusalem’s sake I will not remain quiet, till her righteousness shines out like the dawn, her salvation like a blazing torch.
“But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds,’ declares the LORD, ‘because you are called an outcast, Zion for whom no one cares.‘”‘Nevertheless, I will bring health and healing to it; I will heal My people and will let them enjoy abundant peace and security.
Jeremiah 30:17, Jeremiah 33:6
Remember my servants, Paul and Silas, who were beaten and unjustly imprisoned—yet about midnight they were still singing and praising their Father, God and the other prisoners were listening to them AND SUDDENLY…God broke through and forever altered their circumstances not only releasing Paul and Silas but
all the other captives which led to the salvation of their jailer and his entire family. Their former public disgrace turned around into a testimony of God’s grace and glory!
the darkness of night seems to get darker and darker, but the dawn is …unstoppable!
After the Sabbath, at dawn on the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to look at the tomb. There was a violent earthquake, for an angel of the Lord came down from heaven and, going to the tomb, rolled back the stone and sat on it. His appearance was like lightning, and his clothes were white as snow. The guards were so afraid of him that they shook and became like dead men. The angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified.” He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay. “Then go quickly and tell his disciples: ‘He has risen from the dead and is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him.’ Now I have told you.” So the women hurried away from the tomb, afraid yet filled with joy, and ran to tell his disciples. Suddenly Jesus met them. “Greetings,” he said. They came to him, clasped his feet and worshiped him. Then Jesus said to them, “Do not be afraid. Go and tell my brothers to go to Galilee; there they will see me.” While the women were on their way, some of the guards went into the city and reported to the chief priests everything that had happened. When the chief priests had met with the elders and devised a plan, they gave the soldiers a large sum of money Telling them, “You are to say, ‘His disciples came during the night and stole him away while we were asleep.'” “If this report gets to the governor, we will satisfy him and keep you out of trouble.” So the soldiers took the money and did as they were instructed. And this story has been widely circulated among the Jews to this very day.
You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden.
Nevertheless, the righteous will hold to their ways, and those with clean hands will grow stronger. They go from strength to strength, till each appears before God in Zion. Light is shed upon the righteous and joy on the upright in heart. Then you will understand what is right and just and fair–every good path. Thus you will walk in the ways of good men and keep to the paths of the righteous. The path of the righteous is level; O upright One, you make the way of the righteous smooth. Those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars for ever and ever.
Job 17:9 – Psalm 84:7 – Psalm 97:11 – Proverbs 2:9, 20 – Isaiah 26:7 – Daniel 12:3
Those living far away fear your wonders; where morning dawns and evening fades you call forth songs of joy.
Isaiah 26–A Song of Praise
In that day this song will be sung in the land of Judah:
We have a strong city; God makes salvation its walls and ramparts.
Open the gates
that the righteous nation may enter,
the nation that keeps faith.
You will keep in perfect peace
those whose minds are steadfast,
because they trust in you.
Trust in the Lord forever,
for the Lord, the Lord Himself, is the Rock eternal.
He humbles those who dwell on high,
He lays the lofty city low;
He levels it to the ground
and casts it down to the dust.
Feet trample it down—
the feet of the oppressed,
the footsteps of the poor.
The path of the righteous is level;
You, the Upright One, make the way of the righteous smooth.
Yes, Lord, walking in the way of Your laws,
we wait for You;
Your name and renown
are the desire of our hearts.
My soul yearns for You in the night;
in the morning my spirit longs for You.
When Your judgments come upon the earth,
the people of the world learn righteousness.
But when grace is shown to the wicked,
they do not learn righteousness;
even in a land of uprightness they go on doing evil
and do not regard the majesty of the Lord.
Lord, your hand is lifted high,
but they do not see it.
Let them see Your zeal for Your people and be put to shame;
let the fire reserved for Your enemies consume them.
Lord, You establish peace for us;
all that we have accomplished You have done for us.
Lord our God, other lords besides You have ruled over us,
but Your name alone do we honor.
They are now dead, they live no more;
their spirits do not rise.
You punished them and brought them to ruin;
you wiped out all memory of them.
You have enlarged the nation, Lord;
You have enlarged the nation.
You have gained glory for Yourself;
You have extended all the borders of the land.
Lord, they came to You in their distress;
when You disciplined them,
they could barely whisper a prayer.
As a pregnant woman about to give birth
writhes and cries out in her pain,
so were we in Your presence, Lord.
We were with child, we writhed in labor,
but we gave birth to wind.
We have not brought salvation to the earth,
and the people of the world have not come to life.
But your dead will live, Lord;
their bodies will rise—
let those who dwell in the dust
wake up and shout for joy—
Your dew is like the dew of the morning;
the earth will give birth to her dead.
Go, My people, enter your rooms
and shut the doors behind you;
hide yourselves for a little while
until His wrath has passed by.
See, the Lord is coming out of His dwelling
to punish the people of the earth for their sins.
The earth will disclose the blood shed on it;
the earth will conceal its slain no longer.
Isaiah 27 -Deliverance of Israel
In that day,
the Lord will punish with His sword —
His fierce, great and powerful sword—
Leviathan the gliding serpent,
Leviathan the coiling serpent;
He will slay the monster of the sea.
In that day —
“Sing about a fruitful vineyard:
I, the Lord, watch over it;
I water it continually.
I guard it day and night
so that no one may harm it.
I am not angry.
If only there were briers and thorns confronting Me!
I would march against them in battle;
I would set them all on fire.
Or else let them come to Me for refuge;
let them make peace with Me,
yes, let them make peace with Me.”
In days to come Jacob will take root,
Israel will bud and blossom
and fill all the world with fruit.
Has the Lord struck her
as He struck down those who struck her?
Has she been killed
as those were killed who killed her?
By warfare and exile you contend with her—
with His fierce blast He drives her out,
as on a day the east wind blows.
By this, then, will Jacob’s guilt be atoned for,
and this will be the full fruit of the removal of his sin:
When he makes all the altar stones
to be like limestone crushed to pieces,
no Asherah poles or incense altars
will be left standing.
The fortified city stands desolate,
an abandoned settlement, forsaken like the wilderness;
there the calves graze,
there they lie down;
they strip its branches bare.
When its twigs are dry, they are broken off
and women come and make fires with them.
For this is a people without understanding;
so their Maker has no compassion on them,
and their Creator shows them no favor.
In that day the Lord will thresh from the flowing Euphrates to the Wadi of Egypt, and you, Israel, will be gathered up one by one.
And in that day a great trumpet will sound.
Those who were perishing in Assyria and those who were exiled in Egypt will come and worship the Lord on the holy mountain in Jerusalem.
