Purity is undiluted, uncorrupt, single minded, fixed, focused in vision.
The pure in heart SEE God.
But a double-minded man is unstable in all HIS ways. In fact he can not even see where he is heading.
All the ways of a man are clean (pure) in his own sight, But the LORD weighs the motives. (Proverbs 16:2)
The eye of faith believes because they know Who they have believed and know that He is faithful and true to His Word. It is His unfailing love that perfects our faith in believing Him.
“If you can BELIEVE, ALL things are POSSIBLE to him who BELIEVES.”
-Jesus (Mark 9:23)
And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to Him must believe that God exists and that He rewards those who sincerely seek Him. (Hebrews 11:6)
For the law made nothing perfect, and a better hope is introduced, by which we draw near to God. (Hebrews 7:19)
You came near when I called You, and You said, “Do not fear.” Through Him everyone who believes is justified from everything you could not be justified from by the law of Moses. Therefore no one will be declared righteous in his sight by observing the law; rather, through the law we become conscious of sin.
Lamentations 3:57 – Acts 13:39 – Romans 3:20
Surely God is good to Israel, to those who are pure in heart. He who loves a pure heart and whose speech is gracious will have the king for his friend. Make every effort to live in peace with all men and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord.
Psalm 73:1, Proverbs 22:11, Hebrews 12:14
But Christ is faithful as a son over God’s house. And we are His house, if we hold on to our courage and the hope of which we boast. Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. God did this so that, by two unchangeable things in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have fled to take hold of the hope offered to us may be greatly encouraged. Therefore He is able to save completely those who come to God through Him, because He always lives to intercede for them. This is an illustration for the present time, indicating that the gifts and sacrifices being offered were not able to clear the conscience of the worshiper. The law is only a shadow of the good things that are coming–not the realities themselves. For this reason it can never, by the same sacrifices repeated endlessly year after year, make perfect those who draw near to worship. Let us draw near to God with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water.
Hebrews 3:6 – Hebrews 4:16 – Hebrews 6:18 – Hebrews 7:25 –
– Hebrews 9:9 – Hebrews 10:1 – Hebrews 10:22
Come near to God and He will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.
The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it,
the world, and all who live in it;
for He founded it on the seas
and established it on the waters.
Who may ascend the mountain of the Lord?
Who may stand in His holy place?
The one who has clean hands and a pure heart,
who does not trust in an idol
or swear by a false god.
They will receive blessing from the Lord
and vindication from God their Savior.
Such is the generation of those who seek Him,
who seek Your face, God of Jacob.
Lift up your heads, you gates;
be lifted up, you ancient doors,
that the King of glory may come in.
Who is this King of glory?
The Lord strong and mighty,
the Lord mighty in battle.
Lift up your heads, you gates;
lift them up, you ancient doors,
that the King of glory may come in.
Who is He, this King of glory?
The Lord Almighty —
He is the King of glory.
Psalm 24 Of David.
Jesus Appears to Thomas
Thomas, one of the twelve apostles, who was called Didymus, wasn’t with them when Jesus came. The other disciples told him, “We’ve seen the Lord.”
Thomas told them, “I refuse to believe this unless I see the nail marks in his hands, put my fingers into them, and put my hand into his side.”
A week later Jesus’ disciples were again in the house, and Thomas was with them. Even though the doors were locked, Jesus stood among them and said, “Peace be with you!” Then Jesus said to Thomas, “Put your finger here, and look at my hands. Take your hand, and put it into my side. Stop doubting, and believe.”
Thomas responded to Jesus, “My Lord and my God!”
Jesus said to Thomas, “You believe because you’ve seen me. Blessed are those who haven’t seen me but believe.”
Jesus performed many other miracles that his disciples saw. Those miracles are not written in this book.
God blesses those whose hearts are pure, for they will see God.
To the pure You show Yourself pure, but to the wicked You show yourself hostile.
2 Samuel 22:27
Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before Him He endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Consider Him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.
Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. (Psalm 51:10)
Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when He appears, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. They will see His face, and His name will be on their foreheads.
1 John 3:2 – Revelation 22:4
I pray that I may WORSHIP GOD in spirit and in truth. There is no fear in love for perfect love drives out all fear. There is nothing greater than the love of God in Christ Jesus who gave Himself FOR US so that we are freed to walk with Him in newness of Resurrection life by the powerful love of God which is shed abroad in our hearts by His Holy Spirit which is Truth and Light. If we walk in the Light as He is in the Light, we have fellowship with one another and the Blood of Jesus cleanses us from all unrighteousness. We are clean and pure, able to see by faith that is our work (believing)
and His love which is the Perfecting of our faith in Christ Jesus who gave Himself for us to live.
The dwelling of God is with me and He will live with them. They will be His people and God Himself will be with them and be their God. He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain. (Revelation 21:3-4)
Now is the time to Worship God. God who is Eternal has given us enough time to come to Him.
Those who come to Him must believe for on that Last Day, every eye will see and know He is God but only those who have come to Him by faith (believing) will go home with Him into Life Everlasting.
These are those who chose His way, His truth and His life over their own selfish ways, their own perceptions.
And he who tries to hold on to his own life will ultimately lose it forever. But he lets go of the things of this world and clings to the Eternal Godhead will find his life kept, sustained, and reserved for him in the Eternal.
We must fear not and only believe the Word of God for this is the SAME VOICE that birthed creation.
This is the SAME WORD that holds the universe together. And this is the SAME yesterday, today and forever from Everlasting to Everlasting, He is Lord and is the Son of the Almighty Father and is coming again for His own–Jesus the Messiah,
It is time to see by faith and it is only in knowing we are LOVED and ACCEPTED in His BELOVED SON Jesus Christ and believing that He is the LIVING WORD that our eyes are open to His Truth.
(Revelation 3). The enemy can only operate to the extent we allow him. He can only erect “smoke and mirrors” in opposition to your coming to God but pay him no mind – take no heed to whatever he says for he is no more in control over life than the Wizard of Oz. Keep coming to God through faith in Christ Jesus for yes it is a press but your faith is developing “meat” a strong muscle that comes from the joy of your salvation abiding in the VERY PRESENT HELP of the ETERNAL HOLY SPIRIT who is given to lead and guide you every step of the way. Don’t wait for a ‘death bed” to convert but die to selfish pursuits and turn your eyes towards heaven for that is your true home and where your real treasure is.
But the path of the righteous is like the light of dawn, That shines brighter and brighter until the full day. (Proverbs 4:18)
To the Church in Laodicea
“To the angel of the church in Laodicea write:
These are the words of the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the ruler of God’s creation. I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth. You say, ‘I am rich; I have acquired wealth and do not need a thing.’ But you do not realize that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind and naked. I counsel you to buy from me gold refined in the fire, so you can become rich; and white clothes to wear, so you can cover your shameful nakedness; and salve to put on your eyes, so you can see.
Those whom I love I rebuke and discipline. So be earnest and repent. Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me.
To the one who is victorious, I will give the right to sit with me on my throne, just as I was victorious and sat down with my Father on his throne. Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches.” (from Revelation 3)
Seek the Lord while He may be found,
Call upon Him while He is near. (Isaiah 55:6)
So then, turn your eyes upon Him, look full in-to His face and you will find that the things of earth will ac-quire a strange new dim-ness.
O soul, are you weary and troubled?
No light in the darkness you see?
There’s a light for a look at the Savior,
And life more abundant and free!
Turn your eyes upon Jesus,
Look full in His wonderful face,
And the things of earth will grow strangely dim,
In the light of His glory and grace.
Through death into life everlasting
He passed, and we follow Him there;
Over us sin no more hath dominion—
For more than conquerors we are!
His Word shall not fail you—He promised;
Believe Him, and all will be well:
Then go to a world that is dying,
His perfect salvation to tell!
TURN YOUR EYES UPON JESUS
Words and Music: Helen H. Lemmel, 1922
There’s a saying that love is “blind” but even a blind man sees with his heart!
Fear not, only Believe! Then you shall see the glory of God revealed to you!
LORD, who may dwell in Your sanctuary? Who may live on Your holy hill? Have mercy on me, O God, have mercy on me, for in You my soul takes refuge. I will take refuge in the shadow of Your wings until the disaster has passed. (Psalm 15:1 A psalm of David, Psalm 57:1 For the director of music. [To the tune of] “Do Not Destroy.” Of David. A miktam. When he had fled from Saul into the cave.)
Blessed are those You choose and bring near to live in Your courts! We are filled with the good things of Your house, of Your holy temple. (Psalm 65:4)
Colossians 1:15-21 reveals the Son who is God’s Living Eternal Word:
He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation.
He created all things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible.
Whether they are kings or lords, rulers or powers—
Everything has been created through Him and for Him.
He existed before everything and holds everything together.
He is also the head of the church, which is His body.
He is the beginning, the first to come back to life
so that he would have first place in everything.
God was pleased to have all of Himself live in Christ. God was also pleased to bring everything on earth and in heaven back to Himself through Christ. He did this by making peace through Christ’s blood sacrificed on the cross.
Once you were separated from God. The evil things you did showed your hostile attitude.
There is none so blind as he who WILL NOT see!
