I am not writing this to shame you, but to warn you, as my dear children. My dear children, for whom I am again in the pains of childbirth until Christ is formed in you—
1 Corinthians 4:14, Galatians 4:19
I shall wait on the Lord and He will strengthen my heart for the joy of the Lord is my strength!
Nothing makes me happier than to hear that my children are living according to the truth.
1 John 1:4
People who want to get rich fall into temptation and a trap and into many foolish and harmful desires that plunge men into ruin and destruction.
1 Timothy 6:9
The things that appear to bring gains to us can have just the opposite effect. Money and material possessions, God’s Word says, actually can brings severe and devastating losses into our lives when they become the ruling force of our existence.
The losses of life don’t need to stop at being losses.
In God’s hands they can be so that we gain life–real life–not only for eternity but also right here, today.
Losing my self-seeking so that I can gain Christ’s fulfilling, joyous, abundant life. That’s quite a bargain!
For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus made me free from the law of sin and of death.
“And it is one of King David’s descendants, Jesus, who is God’s promised Savior of Israel!” You are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.
Acts 13:23, Galatians 3:26, Galatians 3:28
For in The Messiah Yeshua (Jesus the Christ), circumcision is not anything, neither is uncircumcision, only faith that is perfected in love.
Salvation is from the Jews. Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks.
God is spirit, and His worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.
To be a true “free spirit” is real worship. It is freed to serve the Creator in truth and love and that, is truly, freedom.
Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.
“If The Son therefore will set you free, you will truly be the children of liberty.” And because you belong to Him, the power of the life-giving Spirit has freed you from the power of sin that leads to death.
John 8:32, 36, Romans 8:2
All of God lives in Christ’s body, and God has made you complete in Christ. Christ is in charge of every ruler and authority. In Him you were also circumcised. It was not a circumcision performed by human hands. But it was a removal of the corrupt nature in the circumcision performed by Christ. This happened when you were placed in the tomb with Christ through baptism. In baptism you were also brought back to life with Christ through faith in the power of God, who brought Him back to life.
You were once dead because of your failures and your uncircumcised corrupt nature. But God made you alive with Christ when He forgave all our failures. He did this by erasing the charges that were brought against us by the written laws God had established. He took the charges away by nailing them to the cross. He stripped the rulers and authorities of their power and made a public spectacle of them as He celebrated His victory in Christ.
This is the only real freedom and it is available to all.
As we live, move and have our being in that freedom each day, God’s
truth is on display for all to see daily. In Christ is our freedom to live a glorious life of victory, so that all may see His banner of love, truth, and peace.
For sin shall not be your master, because you are not under law, but under grace. So, my brothers, you also died to the law through the body of Christ, that you might belong to another, to Him who was raised from the dead, in order that we might bear fruit to God. But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves to God, the benefit you reap leads to holiness, and the result is eternal life.
Romans 6:14, Romans 7:4, Romans 6:22
“‘I will look on you with favor and make you fruitful and increase your numbers, and I will keep my covenant with you.”
God blessed them and said, “Be fertile, increase in number, fill the earth, and be its master. Rule the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, and all the animals that crawl on the earth.”
Sons are a heritage from the LORD, children a reward from Him. Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them. They will not be put to shame when they contend with their enemies in the gate.
Psalm 127:3, Psalm 127:5
I pray that I may follow the will of God for my life and that my life
will help lead others to know the real freedom of Jesus’ love, truth
and peace in their lives. Amen
For no matter how many promises God has made, they are “Yes” in Christ. And so through Him the “Amen” is spoken by us to the glory of God. Now it is God who makes both us and you stand firm in Christ. He anointed us, set His seal of ownership on us, and put His Spirit in our hearts as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come.
2 Corinthians 1:20-22
You can be sure that God will take care of everything you need, His generosity exceeding even yours in the glory that pours from Jesus. Our God and Father abounds in glory that just pours out into eternity. Yes.
“I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect.”
That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
Genesis 17:1, Romans 8:4
The righteousness of the law is fulfilled, is illustrated, is realized by those who walk “not after the flesh, but after the spirit“. The spiritual walk alone, which is to walk by faith, is the only way that the true nature of the law can be realized and be understood. There is a righteousness of the law, and that righteousness can only be given its full and true meaning by those who walk after the spirit.
Therefore whosoever hears these sayings of mine, and does them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. And every one that hears these sayings of mine, and does them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it. And it came to pass, when Jesus had ended these sayings, the people were astonished at his doctrine: For He taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.
Jesus is God’s victorious banner over us, proclaiming His truth in our hearts. He is the Father’s firstborn of the new covenant in which we are joint heirs. He is God’s glorious liberty, protecting and shielding us for He is the “Glory and the Lifter of our heads” at all times. He is God’s new song of true freedom –so somebody lift a shout and let His song ring out in your heart today!
