“God loved the world this way: He gave His only Son so that everyone who believes in Him will not die but will have eternal life. He who has the Son has life; he who has not the Son of God has not life.”
John 3:16, 1 John 5:12
God is in the FAMILY business and how we relate to God the Father through Jesus the Son is how we receive instruction on how to relate to others in His perfect love which is restoring all things to everlasting life.
“Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.”
1 John 4:8
“I am the Almighty God; walk before Me, and be thou perfect.”
“When Enoch had lived 65 years, he became the father of Methuselah. After he became the father of Methuselah, Enoch walked faithfully with God 300 years and had other sons and daughters. Altogether, Enoch lived a total of 365 years. Enoch walked faithfully with God; then he was no more, because God took him away.”
“This is the account of Noah. Noah was a righteous man, blameless among the people of his time, and he walked with God.”
“When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the LORD appeared to him and said, “I am God Almighty; walk before me and be blameless.”
Abraham in sending out his servant to secure a bride for his son, Isaac, said,
‘The LORD, before whom I have walked, will send his angel with you and make your journey a success, so that you can get a wife for my son from my own clan and from my father’s family.’
Jacob, Abraham’s grandson and the son of Isaac, in speaking to his son Joseph IN BLESSING said,
“May the God before whom my fathers Abraham and Isaac walked, the God who has been my shepherd all my life to this day.”
“Neither height nor depth, nor anything else in ALL creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
When that great truth is born from a daily walk with God, then we really know God’s unchanging steadfastness and love beyond all human limits.
We know that God is in the details whether they seem to go in our favor or not. We know that in the storms of life, the Lord is with us through it all. We are never alone.
This is staying power to go through all things and it is energizing strength to get up when complacency tries to settle you in.
Trust in Him at all times, you people; pour out your heart before Him; God is a REFUGE for us.”
“Faith led Abraham to live as a foreigner in the country that God had promised him. He lived in tents, as did Isaac and Jacob, who received the same promise from God. Abraham was confidently looking forward to a city with eternal foundations, a city designed and built by God.”
“Better is one day in your courts than a thousand elsewhere; I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of the wicked.”
David gives a faithful witness to God’s faithfulness and truth in
He believed he should see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living; and, if he had not done so, he would have fainted under his afflictions.
All things are possible to him who believes. For those that come to God must believe that He is, and that, He rewards those who diligently seek Him.
Mark 9:23; Hebrews 11:6
God created Adam and Eve to walk with Him in the garden of life and receive His instruction for living right. Sin entered and caused separation from this perfect communing with God when Adam and Eve turned and ran away in their attempts to hide from God. God has not changed, His heart is always looking to communicate and share His love with His people so that they too might walk before Him and be perfect in that love which knows no bounds.
In the limitless guidance of God’s Holy Spirit, the Good News of
His Son is revealed in ever increasing glorious light as we walk in agreement with His will. The Spirit is given to lead and guide us every step of the way for apart from God we can do nothing.
But again, all things are possible to him who believes.
The apostle Paul says, in 1 Corinthians 15:10–
“But God’s kindness (Grace) made me what I am, and that kindness (Grace) was not wasted on me. Instead, I worked harder than all the others. It was not I who did it, but God’s kindness (Grace) was with me.”
God, who is extravagant in mercy, grace and love expects us to be wise stewards of the resources and time He provides. Unlike, our enemy Satan, who is a waster and whose chief aim is to take it allaway from us stealing the glorious heritage of God’s children of light and covering his deeds in darkness.
God sent forth His Son as light and we have seen His light and turned from the darkness of Satan’s dominion to the glorious light of the face of His Son Jesus the Christ. As we fix our focus and walk in agreement with Jesus who is the Living Word of Almighty God the Father, we are being transformed from a life lost and wasted in sinful lust and brought back redeemed and made useful for the benefit of others in their turning back to God.
Just as in the wilderness, some gathered more–others gathered less but there was always sufficient manna (bread) to feed all. There is always more of God than what we have experienced. Even though Jesus is called The Beginning and The End there is no beginning or end to His Eternal Life that is far beyond man’s comprehension in abundance and measure!
I want to know Christ and experience the mighty power that raised him from the dead. I want to suffer with him, sharing in his death, so that one way or another I will experience the resurrection from the dead!
I don’t mean to say that I have already achieved these things or that I have already reached perfection. But I press on to possess that perfection for which Christ Jesus first possessed me. No, dear brothers and sisters, I have not achieved it, but I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead!
God is the Lord our Father who sees, who knows my need because He sees. He is the only One who is able to meet my need in just the right time as He did for Abraham, and the only One who can meet it fully.
“And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus.”
This is a powerful insight into the heart of our heavenly Father for He is our Provider and the Holy Spirit is given and reveals the Faithfulness and Truth of God’s Word, His Son. He is for us when we walk in agreement with His revealed will. This revealed vision is our provision from our Father who provides.
Then the LORD said to me, “Write my answer plainly on tablets, so that a runner can carry the correct message to others.”
What He’s done for us is to be shared freely with all that He sends us to.
A doorkeeper in God’s house is always a welcome wagon seeking to bring home those who have lost their way. He has found the entrance to the abundance of life and he is busy about his Father’s business
attending to that need in others.
Jesus calls you his FAMILY if you do as He says!
There’s no “camping out” on the mountain of God, we have a great message to take to the masses. Even as Jesus only did whatever His Father showed him to do. Even as God chose Abraham because He knew that Abraham would raise up his children to train up their children to walk with Him.
And Jesus said to him, “Blessed are you, Simon Barjona, because flesh and blood did not reveal this to you, but My Father who is in heaven.” His Holy Spirit bears witness with our spirit that we are the children of God and that Jesus is His Son our Lord. It is the Spirit that reveals it to us for apart from Him we can do nothing. Our work is to believe!
Once you know Him you are accountable to share that Truth which is Faith bearing witness to Him with all that He sends you to.
This is the life energized and vitally lived in communion with God’s Holy Spirit leading and guiding you into all Truth. There’s no
“camping out” eating yesterday’s leftovers for there is no waste we are enjoying the fruits of our co-labors with Christ.
We all go on in ever increasing faith into the glorious liberty as the maturing children of God to sing as Jabez–
He was the one who prayed to the God of Israel, “Oh, that you would bless me and expand my territory! Please be with me in all that I do, and keep me from all trouble and pain!” And God granted him his request.
1 Chronicles 4:10
Oh the wonder! Oh the glorious freedom of knowing that the Creator God of the universe CHOSE me that I would walk with Him and be made perfect in Christ Jesus! I will praise You Lord for I am fearfully and wonderfully MADE! Today why not take hold of He who has laid hold in Christ Jesus to proclaim His truth over you. Believe that through His life, death and resurrection power in the provision to walk before Him and be made blameless in love with no bounds.
Jesus, thank You for laying hold of me! Help me to press on towards Your purposes and not to give up. May I use my life to the fullest through all You have provided for me. Amen.
