Your prophets, O Israel, are like jackals among RUINS. You have not gone up to the BREAKS in the wall to repair it…so that it will STAND FIRM in the battle. God’s house (His family) is to be a house of prayer for the nations but you have turned it into a den of thieves! God’s will is to share our bread with the hungry and that even a cup of cold water given in His name is rewarded generously in His kingdom. Your Walls Are Salvation, Your Gates Are Praise for Your House is all glorious within!
What does God see when He looks down on us? He watches over His
Word to perform it but He is under no obligation to fulfill our
words spoken in the vanity of our own thoughts and self-interests.
We will reap what we sow whether death or Life eternal. God’s seed produce a Tree of Life but the tares (weeds) are the seed of the Tree of Knowledge of Good AND Evil.
Jackals and wolves feast on the flesh of dead things. This is the way the enemy consumes us whether through lust, anger, jealousy or any other way common to fallen humanity. But Jesus said that his “food” is to do the will of His Father in heaven. Truth is a powerful fast when we turn to the Living Word and in Him we live, move and have our being. The prayer of just one person really living in Christ Jesus is wonderfully effective in its power to help another. This person’s prayers are linked, connected, joined to the “NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE WITH GOD” and the “IT IS FINISHED” Author and Perfecter of our Faith–the King of Glory!
Jesus only said and did what He saw from His Father. Jesus said that His “food” was to do the will of His Father in heaven and to FINISH His work. Jesus did not come to do his own will but the will of the One who sent Him. Jesus said
“I have brought You glory on earth by completing the work You gave me to do” and on the cross He cried out, “IT IS FINISHED!”
If a person thinks that he is religious but can’t control his tongue, he is fooling himself. That person’s religion is worthless.
We all stumble in many ways. If anyone is never at fault in what he says, he is a perfect man, able to keep his whole body in check.
James 1:26, James 3:2
God is looking for a man who will stand in the gap for others and build up the walls of His house (family) in faith. He is not pleased when we cast stones or take our privilege for granted and allow His house to fall into disrepair. We are not here to look pretty but to be about our Father’s business which is a FAMILY business and a CONSTRUCTION business. It is to a man’s glory to overlook an offense in another and choose to intercede for them standing on the promises of God for their life to be filled to overflowing in Him. We take His love and are moved with compassion rather than sit back in criticism. We build up rather than add to its ruin.
Set a guard over my mouth, O LORD; keep watch over the door of my lips. Remember not the sins of my youth and my rebellious ways;
according to Your love remember me, for You are good, O Lord.
Psalm 141:3, Psalm 25:7
The Lord said to me, “You have seen correctly, for I am watching to see that my word is fulfilled.”
“It is written, “’Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.’”
So He humbled you, allowed you to hunger, and fed you with manna which you did not know nor did your fathers know, that He might make you know that man shall not live by bread alone; but man lives by every word that proceeds from the mouth of the Lord.
Matthew 4:4, Deuteronomy 8:3
These kind go out by nothing but by prayer and fasting. Prayer draws us into submission and agreement with the Word of God Almighty and is the only antidote to sin. Fasting our ways and words and
living by faith in the Son of God who gave Himself for us unleashes the powerful love of God that drives out Satan. Satan can not stand the humble heart where Jesus is enthroned as King of Kings and Lord of Lords. We enter the Kingdom of perfect peace, love and right living by the blood of the sinless Lamb of God, the Word made flesh–Jesus Christ, the Prince of Peace who was manifest to destroy the works of the devil. Jesus paid the price to restore us back into the family of God and open up the way to perfectly hear and speak the Word of God.
Kings take pleasure in honest lips; they value a man who speaks the truth. God loves him that is pure in heart and he shows love upon the lips of the king’s friends. The eyes of the LORD keep watch over knowledge, but He frustrates the words of the unfaithful.
Proverbs 16:3, Proverbs 22:11-12
In His presence, all fear is gone. There is no room for the enemy’s arsenal of “un” and “dis” and “de” all that seeks to deceive, destroy, disgrace and unbelieve that God is Faithful and True. We are strengthened in the perfect environment of the ever present Lord
who is our help in time of need and we need Him every hour! We are nothing apart from Him but all things are possible to he who believes!
I will watch what I do and not sin in what I say. I will hold my tongue when the ungodly are around me.
In the Kingdom, there is only One King who is Lord and what was entrusted into our hands and mouth revert back to Him. Our rewards
will be either repaid in kind as thistles and thorns based on what and how we sowed or they will be a glorious beautiful harvest when God restores the Kingdom forever to His children in Christ Jesus.
Are we members of His House–do we sow our seed in the form of prayers for others and our the bread in the form of words to build up and encourage others? Or is the devil misleading us into thinking we are building our own kingdom? God’s house is a family of prayer for the nations but do we make it a den of thieves?
Jackals live in dens as do wolves. Jesus said that his “food” was to do the will of His Father in heaven and to build the kingdom. Are we really praying and fasting or are we self seeking?
Therefore consider carefully how you listen. Whoever has will be given more; whoever does not have, even what he thinks he has will be taken from him.
