But the world must learn that I love the Father and that I do exactly what my Father has commanded Me.
If you obey My commands, you will remain in My love, just as I have obeyed My Father’s commands and remain in His love.
And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to death–even death on a cross! Although He was a son, He learned obedience from what He suffered.
John 14:31, John 15:10, Philippians 2:8, Hebrews 5:8
“Don’t you realize that I could ask My Father for thousands of angels to protect us, and He would send them instantly?
But if I did, how would the Scriptures be fulfilled that describe what must happen now?”
“The Son of Man will go just as it is written about Him.
But woe to that man who betrays the Son of Man!
It would be better for him if he had not been born.”
“The Father loves Me because I give My life in order to take it back again. No one takes my life from Me. I give My life of My own free will. I have the authority to give My life, and I have the authority to take My life back again. This is what My Father ordered Me to do.”
Have we not all one Father? Did not one God create us? Why do we profane the covenant of our fathers by breaking faith with one another?
A son honors his father, and a servant his master.
“If I am a father, where is the honor due Me?
If I am a master, where is the respect due Me?”
says the LORD Almighty.
“It is you, O priests, who show contempt for My name.
“But you ask, ‘How have we shown contempt for your name?‘
“Why do you call Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ and do not do what I say?”
Malachi 1:6, Luke 6:46
“You offer contaminated food on My altar.
“But you ask,
‘Then how have we contaminated you?‘
“When you say that the LORD’s table may be despised.
Do not bring anything with a defect,
because it will not be accepted on your behalf.
Malachi 1:8, Leviticus 22:20
“If you carefully obey all the commands I am giving you today, and if you love the LORD your God and serve Him with all your heart and soul, I will send rain on your land at the right time, both in the fall and in the spring. Then you will gather your own grain, new wine, and olive oil.
“Even now,” declares the Lord, “return to Me with all your heart, with fasting and weeping and mourning.”
How much more, then, will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself unblemished to God, cleanse our consciences from acts that lead to death, so that we may serve the living God!
Joel 2:12 Hebrews 9:13
“And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where you are; and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and there shall no plague be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt.”
But Messiah has indeed been raised from the dead, the firstfruits
of those who have fallen asleep. For since death came through a man [Adam], the resurrection of the dead comes also through a man. For as in Adam all die, so in Messiah all will be made alive.
1 Corinthians 15:20–22
For it is God, who commanded light to shine out of darkness who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
2 Corinthians 4:6
Without faith it is impossible to please God because anyone who comes to Him must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him.
God is not mocked for whatsoever a man sows that must he also reap.
Whatever you have in your heart is not hidden from God. He is watching to see if we are deciding to trust Him and continue on with Him or not. If we walk in agreement with His Word sown in our hearts as a seed – the substance of which (Faith) moves mountains, it is a powerful principle – even as a blade of grass breaks through the rock until it manifests above ground even though the life began under the soil where it was not visible to the naked eye; likewise we receive the blessing of sonship and we are growing through our circumstances in life through obedience to His Word.
But if we turn back and despise (discount the smallness of the seed, not realizing within it is the potent life-procuding “DNA” for the harvest) we lose our inheritance as full grown sons of the Living God.
It is the persevering faith that breaks through the tough times when it seems the darkest and the budding blossom on that virtuous plant releases the aroma of encouragement to those in its sphere of influence.
It’s not how we start but how we finish. We are going through and Jesus is faithful and true to His Word for He can not lie. He is with us to the very end of this age.
Never forget – there is light behind every shadow.
There can be no shadow unless a light is shining somewhere.
Even underground the seed is receiving the light and growing up towards it pushing through the barrier of earth that separates it from the source of life. It is obeying the instructions given to it.
In Malachi 3, God has been teaching me on the principle of the holy seed – the tithe – what we give to God. The enemy is
after the seed but God uses the seed to bring forth His harvest.
It isn’t about money but about what is planted in our hearts. If His Word is alive within us, and we are faithful to obey His Voice, it produces a harvest of righteousness.
“‘If you follow My decrees and are careful to obey My commands,
I will send you the seasonal rains. The land will then yield its crops, and the trees of the field will produce their fruit.” Leviticus 26:3-4
“Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in My house. Test me in this,” says the LORD Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will not have room enough for it.
If you pay attention to these laws and are careful to follow them, then the LORD your God will keep his covenant of love with you, as he swore to your forefathers. Be patient, then, brothers, until the Lord’s coming. See how the farmer waits for the land to yield its valuable crop and how patient he is for the autumn and spring rains.
Deuteronomy 7:12, James 5:7
Yet He has not left himself without testimony: He has shown kindness by giving you rain from heaven and crops in their seasons; He provides you with plenty of food and fills your hearts with joy.”
Then the land will yield its harvest, and God, our God, will bless us. The LORD will indeed give what is good, and our land will yield its harvest.
Acts 14:17, Psalm 67:6, 85:12
I will increase the fruit of the trees and the crops of the field, so that you will no longer suffer disgrace among the nations because of famine. The LORD will open the heavens, the storehouse of his bounty, to send rain on your land in season and to bless all the work of your hands. You will lend to many nations but will borrow from none.
Ezekiel 36:3, Deuteronomy 28:12
Be glad, O people of Zion, rejoice in the LORD your God, for He has given you the autumn rains in righteousness. He sends you abundant showers, both autumn and spring rains, as before.
“As the new heavens and the new earth that I make will endure before me,” declares the LORD, “so will your name and descendants endure.”
I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one can snatch them out of My hand.
“…though the Lord makes His life a guilt offering, He will see His offspring and prolong His days, and the will of the Lord will prosper in His hand.”
John 10:28, Isaiah 53:10
Realize that you weren’t set free from the worthless life handed down to you from your ancestors by a payment of silver or gold which can be destroyed. Rather, the payment that freed you was the precious blood of Christ, the lamb with no defects or imperfections. 1 Peter 1:18-19
His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness.
2 Peter 1:3
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In His great mercy He has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, and we have a priceless inheritance–an inheritance that is kept in heaven for you, pure and undefiled, beyond the reach of change and decay. And through your faith, God is protecting you by His power until you receive this salvation, which is ready to be revealed on the last day for all to see.
1 Peter 1:3-5
He will guard the feet of his saints, but the wicked will be silenced in darkness. “It is not by strength that one prevails.
I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.
1 Samuel 2:9, Romans 8:18
We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making His appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf:
BE RECONCILED TO GOD.
2 Corinthians 5:20
May Jesus Messiah the unblemished Passover lamb fill you with
the strength of faith, the peace of hope, and the blessings of freedom. This freedom, the salvation of Israel and all mankind, was accomplished through the death, burial and resurrection of the Messiah (Jesus the Christ), as the sacrificial Passover Lamb.
“Messiah was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many people; and He will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for Him.”
“But He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon Him, and by His wounds we are healed.”
