A Psalm of David, regarding a time when David was in the Wilderness of Judah (Praise):
O God, you are my God; I earnestly search for you. My soul thirsts for you; my whole body longs for you in this parched and weary land where there is no water. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When may I come to see God’s face? I long, yes, I faint with longing to enter the courts of the LORD. With my whole being, body and soul, I will shout joyfully to the living God.

Deep calls to deep in the roar of your waterfalls; all your waves and breakers have swept over me. Out of the depths I cry to you, O LORD.
Psalm 42:7, Psalm 130:1
I am going to do something new. It is already happening. Don’t you recognize it?
I will clear a way in the desert. I will make rivers on dry land.
I don’t want you to forget, dear brothers and sisters, about our ancestors in the wilderness long ago.
All of them were guided by a cloud that moved ahead of them,
and all of them walked through the sea on dry ground.
They were all united (baptized) with Moses by baptism in the cloud and in the sea.
All of them ate the same spiritual food,
And they all drank of the one drink of The Spirit,
for they were drinking from The Rock of The Spirit,
which was with them, but that Rock was The Messiah.
Isaiah 53:19, 1 Corinthians 10:1-4
It’s not complicated, it is beautiful in its simplicity,
“Fear not, Only Believe” Then you shall see the glory of God!
But I fear that somehow your pure and undivided devotion to Christ will be corrupted, just as Eve was deceived by the cunning ways of the serpent (that your minds may somehow be led astray from your sincerely pure and single-minded devotion to Christ.)
2 Corinthians 11:3
Some people have missed this whole point… they have wandered away and turned to meaningless talk. For there are many rebellious people, mere talkers and deceivers.
If someone claims, “I know God,” but doesn’t obey God’s commandments, that person is a liar and is not living in the truth. For there are many people who are rebellious…they speak utter nonsense and deceive people.
1 John 2:4
The devil was a murderer from the beginning. He has never been truthful. He doesn’t know what the truth is. Whenever he tells a lie, he’s doing what comes naturally to him. He’s a liar and the father of lies. He is an enemy of everything that is right! He is full of all kinds of deceit and trickery and can never stop perverting the right ways of the Lord.
As an angel of light, Satan is especially skilled at making sin seem attractive to us. In other words, Satan prefers to employ subtle tactics rather than overt ones because disguised temptations are more effective in deterring and deceiving well-intentioned Christians. He is luring you to take the bait with his age-old line, “Did God really say…?”
Beware of his “fruit” of lies and half-truths for what may “appear” or “seem” like something very alluring and pleasing to the sensory perception of the natural mind only leads to corruption as rottenness enters as sin conceives, breeding maggots which grow into flies. Is he not also called Beelzebub, the lord of the flies?
A good man will be satisfied from the fruit of his mouth and the souls of the evil will be destroyed.
It’s not what goes into your mouth that defiles you; you are defiled by the words that come out of your mouth. And the tongue is a fire and a world of sin; it is like a jungle. And that tongue by itself, while it is among our members, defiles our whole body and sets on fire the successions of generations, which roll on like wheels; it also burns with fire.
“I can guarantee that on judgment day people will have to give an account of every careless word they say. By your words you will be declared innocent, or by your words you will be declared guilty.”
Matthew 15:11, James 3:6, Matthew 12:36-37
Don’t sin by letting anger control you. Think about it overnight and remain silent. Offer sacrifices in the right spirit, and trust the LORD. Entrust your ways to the LORD. Trust him, and He will act [on your behalf].
Psalm 4:4-5, Psalm 37:5
Dear friends, since you are foreigners and temporary residents in the world, I’m encouraging you to keep away from the desires of your corrupt nature. These desires constantly attack you. Live decent lives among unbelievers.
Then, although they ridicule you as if you were doing wrong while they are watching you do good things, they will praise God on the day He comes to help you. In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.
1 Peter 2:11-12, Matthew 5:16
God’s kingdom does not consist of what a person eats or drinks. Rather, God’s kingdom consists of God’s approval and peace, as well as the joy that the Holy Spirit gives.
The person who serves Christ with this in mind is pleasing to God and respected by people.
Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training.
They do it to get a crown that will not last;
but we do it to get a crown that will last forever.
(1 Corinthians 9:35)
God is training us and even as a coach puts each player into a thorough and tough training program so that they may excel in the games – how much more the Lord of Glory allows these trials and afflictions to remove all that is holding you back from being your best for His highest purpose in you? Don’t be like some who never get off the bench! Or others, who give it all up just when it’s starting to work.
My children let this not be you –never ever give up!
For the Lord is proving that your faith is more precious than any gold of this earth.
He is coming soon —hold fast what you have,
so that no one may seize your crown!
For it is a crown of rejoicing in His delight in you.
He will bring you into the land of His promise to those who press on and overcome the temptations, snares and testings of this world.
His glorious riches await you in Christ Jesus on the other side of “Jordan.” He has planned these for you before the foundation of the world. You are more than an overcomer in Christ Jesus who gave His life for you.
Jesus is above all.
As true believers,
as sons and daughters of the Living God
through faith in Christ Jesus, our life is hid in Him.
Man does not live by bread alone,
but by every Word that proceeds out of the Mouth of God.
It is in Him that we live, move and have our being.
He was the One who led you through that vast and dangerous desert–
a thirsty and arid land, with poisonous snakes and scorpions.
He was the One who made water come out of solid rock for you.
He split rocks in the desert.
He gave them plenty to drink, an ocean of water.
Deuteronomy 8:15, Psalm 78:15
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for God’s approval.
They will be satisfied.
My body and mind may waste away,
but God remains the foundation of my life and my inheritance forever. I am counting on the LORD; yes, I am counting on him.
I have put my hope in his word.
Matthew 5:6, Psalm 73:26, Psalm 130:5
They ate the food of angels!
God gave them all they could hold.
Yeshua said to them,
“I AM THE LIVING GOD, The Bread of Life; whoever comes to me shall not hunger,
and whoever trusts in me shall never thirst.”
Psalm 78:25, John 6:35
No one has ever seen God.
God’s only Son, the One who is closest to the Father’s heart,
has made Him known.
For God loved the world in this way:
So much that he would give up his Son, The Only One,
So that everyone who trusts in him shall not be lost,
but he shall have eternal life.
“My Father wants all those who see the Son and believe
in him to have eternal life.
He wants me to bring them back to life on the last day.”
People cannot come to me unless the Father who sent me brings them to me. I will bring these people back to life on the last day.
John 1:18, John 3:16, John 6:40, 44
The LORD appeared to us in the past, saying:
“I have loved you with an everlasting love;
I have drawn you with loving-kindness.
I led them with cords of human kindness, with ropes of love.
I removed the yokes from their necks.
I bent down and fed them.”
Jeremiah 31:3, Hosea 11:4
“For my people have done two evil things:
They have abandoned me–the fountain of living water.
And they have dug for themselves cracked cisterns
that can hold no water at all!”
But those who drink the water that I will give them will never become thirsty again. In fact, the water I will give them will become in them a spring that gushes up to eternal life.”
Jeremiah 2:13, John 4:14
The Father is calling. The Spirit and the Bride are calling.
Jesus is calling.
Let everyone who is thirsty come and drink from the
River of His Everlasting, Fullness of Life.
He is the Lamb slain from before the foundations of the world.
It is the Lamb’s Book of Life.
We are God’s Workmanship, Created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God Prepared in Advance for us to do.
“I am the living bread that came down from heaven.
If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever.
This bread is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.”
John 6:51, Ephesians 1:22-23
And God placed all things under his feet and appointed him to be head over everything for the church, which is his body, the fullness of him who fills everything in every way.
The God of peace will quickly crush Satan under your feet.
May the good will of our Lord Jesus be with you!
Everywhere you place your foot, you take the Kingdom.
He is King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
His Kingdom is not of this world.
We are in the world but not of it.
In that day the people will proclaim,
“This is our God! We trusted in him, and he saved us! This is the LORD, in whom we trusted. Let us rejoice in the salvation he brings!”
In Hebrew, “Mem” signifies “purpose/probation” Water with NO Boundaries.
Jesus challenges us to move out into the deeper waters of faith as we grow in Him.
Truly our real life is in Him! Deep is calling out to Deep.
Jesus has come that we may have life to the Full overflowing as move in His Spirit.
Come out into the Deep and Get Ready for a Haul!
Mem is more than just a letter of the alphabet. It has a built-in word structure similar to Majim, which means “water.”
When applied to days, months, or years, the number forty (40) does not necessary mean an actual measurable amount of time. Rather, it conveys something related to the time-life dimension like a “generation.”
Conceptually, it can be compared to water, which is an indefinable expanse without borders, a condition in which people could drown and die.
It is in these times of trouble, trial and testing in the “wilderness” this side of “Jordan” that we must move out in sheer faith that God will meet us at every point of need. Is it not Written that my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in Christ Jesus in Glory?
For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD as the waters cover the sea.
And the glory of the LORD will be revealed, and all mankind together will see it. For the mouth of the LORD has spoken.”
No longer will a man teach his neighbor, or a man his brother, saying, ‘Know the LORD,’ because they will all know me, from the least of them to the greatest,” declares the LORD. “For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more.”
Habakkuk 2:14, Isaiah 40:5, Jeremiah 31:34
And he measured a thousand — a stream that I am not able to pass over; for risen have the waters — waters to swim in — a stream that is not passed over. They will not hurt or destroy anyone anywhere on my holy mountain. The world will be filled with the knowledge of the LORD like water covering the sea.
Ezekiel 47:5, Isaiah 11:9
“You will bring them in and plant them on your own mountain–
the place, O LORD, reserved for your own dwelling, the sanctuary,
O Lord, that your hands have established. They will invite nations to their mountain, and there they will offer the proper sacrifices. They will be nourished by the abundance from the seas and the treasures hidden in the sand.”
Exodus 15:17, Deuteronomy 33:19
“With your unfailing love you lead the people you have redeemed.
In your might, you guide them to your sacred home.”
Do you not realize yet that the waters, that have separated us for too long are all summed up in the “Mem?”
This means that there is a purpose to the “trials,” “testing,” or “probation” of life on this side. Just as Israel spent forty years in the wilderness being tested by God before they crossed over Jordan to inherit the Promised Land. (Deuteronomy 8:2-5) Jesus was tempted by the devil for forty days. (Luke 4:1) Forty days after his resurrection, Jesus ascended into heaven. (Acts 1:3)
Do as Jesus did when the Devil, the Serpent came and tempted him with twisting of words, know the Word and let it rise up out of your innermost being for Jesus is the Word that lives forever and has given you His Spirit to lead and guide you into all Truth.
You can count on Him for He is Faithful and True, He is the One.
“Wherever the river flows, life will flourish—great schools of fish—because the river is turning the salt sea into fresh water. Where the river flows, life abounds.
But the river itself, on both banks,
will grow fruit trees of all kinds. Their leaves won’t wither,
the fruit won’t fail. Every month they’ll bear fresh fruit because the river from the Sanctuary flows to them.
Their fruit will be for food and their leaves for healing.”
There is peace, healing, joy, salvation and love in the water.
Stand in the Water and Touch the Fire of my Love.
Let our hearts burn together as One in the Spirit.
Let the Oil of My Joy and Gladness consume all that is not of me
and ignite a passion for purity from the inside-out!
For we are taking pains to do what is right, not only in the eyes of the Lord but also in the eyes of men.
Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable–if anything is excellent or praiseworthy–think about such things.
