How can you believe if you accept praise from one another, yet make no effort to obtain the praise that comes from the only God? Fearing people is a dangerous trap, but trusting the LORD means safety.
John 5:44, Proverbs 29:25
Love never does anything that is harmful to a neighbor. Therefore, love fulfills Moses’ Teachings. For the whole Law is fulfilled in one word, in the statement, “YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.”
Romans 13:10, Galatians 5:14
But I request of you, my brethren, in the name of our Lord Yeshua The Messiah, that all of you would have one speech, and that there would be no divisions among you, that you would be perfected in one mind and in one conscience.
1 Corinthians 1:10
You are still worldly. For since there is jealousy and quarreling among you, are you not worldly? Are you not acting like mere men?
1 Corinthians 3:3
You say you have faith, for you believe that there is one God. Good for you! Even the demons believe this, and they tremble in terror. Never get revenge. Never hold a grudge against any of your people. Instead, love your neighbor as you love yourself. I am the LORD.
James 2:19, Leviticus 19:18
“You have heard that it was said, ‘YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR and hate your enemy.’ But I say, love your enemies! Pray for those who persecute you! In that way, you will be acting as true children of your Father in heaven. For he gives his sunlight to both the evil and the good, and he sends rain on the just and the unjust alike.
Work hard to show the results of your salvation, obeying God with deep reverence and fear. For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases Him.
But let us who live in the light be clearheaded, protected by the armor of faith and love, and wearing as our helmet the confidence of our salvation. Pay your debts as they come due. However, one debt you can never finish paying is the debt of love that you owe each other. The one who loves another person has fulfilled Moses’ Teachings. Romans 13:8
For that reason, I endure everything for the sake of those who have been chosen so that they, too, may receive salvation from Christ Jesus with glory that lasts forever. But I cheerfully also shall spend and I would even give up my person for the sake of your souls, even though, the more I love you, the less you love me. My life is being poured out as a part of the sacrifice and service [I offer to God] for your faith. Yet, I am filled with joy, and I share that joy with all of you. We know what real love is because Jesus gave up his life for us. So we also ought to give up our lives for our brothers and sisters.
2 Timothy 2:10, 2 Corinthians 12:15, Philippians 2:17, 1 John 3:16
Do everything without complaining and arguing, That you would be perfect and without blemish as purified children of God who dwell in a hard and crooked generation, and appear among them as lights in the world.
The day of the Lord will come like a thief. On that day heaven will pass away with a roaring sound. Everything that makes up the universe will burn and be destroyed. The earth and everything that people have done on it will be exposed. All these things will be destroyed in this way. So think of the kind of holy and godly lives you must live. As you look forward to the day of God and eagerly wait for it to come. When that day comes, heaven will be on fire and will be destroyed. Everything that makes up the universe will burn and melt. But we look forward to what God has promised-a new heaven and a new earth-a place where everything that has God’s approval lives. Therefore, dear friends, with this to look forward to, make every effort to have him find you at peace, without [spiritual] stains or blemishes.
2 Peter 3:10-14
Therefore, dear friends, since you already know this, be on your guard so that you may not be carried away by the error of lawless men and fall from your secure position. To him who is able to keep you from falling and to present you before his glorious presence without fault and with great joy–All glory to Him who alone is God, our Savior through Jesus Christ our Lord. All glory, majesty, power, and authority are His before all time, and in the present, and beyond all time! Amen.
2 Peter 1:10, Jude 1:2-25
From now on, my brethren, rejoice; be perfected and be comforted, and harmony and peace shall be in you, and The God of love and of peace shall be with you
2 Corinthians 13:11
May God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ give our brothers and sisters peace and love along with faith. May the Lord of peace give you His peace at all times and in every way. The Lord be with all of you.
Ephesians 6:23, 2 Thessalonians 3:16
