“It is my pleasure to tell you about the miraculous signs and wonders that the Most High God has performed for me.
How great are his signs, how mighty his wonders!
His kingdom is an eternal kingdom; his dominion endures from generation to generation.”
(This is the greatest statement ever made by King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylonian empire in Daniel 4:2-3 and was made after his foolish pride was broken and he finally learned to humble himself before God as his father had learned before him.) For we are all created from the dust of the earth by the Living Word of Almighty God and as the saying goes, ashes to ashes, dust to dust but out of the ashes I arise by the Living Word of God.
John 6:29-30 (NIV)
Jesus answered, “The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent. So they asked him, “What sign then will you give that we may see it and believe you?
“Unless you people see signs and wonders,” Jesus told him, “you will never believe.” But Jesus said, “A prophet is taken for granted in his hometown and his family.”
He didn’t do many miracles there because of their hostile indifference.
John 4:48 (NIV), Matthew 13:58 (MSG)
Tomorrow will not fail you unless you choose to throw it away.
Tomorrow the Lord will do wonders among you. – Joshua 3:5
“…Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.”
Then Jesus said, “Did I not tell you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?” 2 Chronicles 20:20, John 11:40
John 20:24-29 (NIV)
Now Thomas (also known as Didymus), one of the Twelve, was not with the disciples when Jesus came. So the other disciples told him,
“We have seen the Lord!”
But he said to them,
“Unless I see the nail marks in his hands and put my finger where the nails were, and put my hand into his side, I will not believe.”
A week later his disciples were in the house again, and Thomas was with them. Though the doors were locked, Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace be with you!”
Then he said to Thomas,
“Put your finger here; see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe.”
Thomas said to him, “My Lord and my God!”
Then Jesus told him, “Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”
In Matthew 13:16-17, Jesus tells his disciples,
“But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear. For verily I say unto you, That many prophets and righteous men have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them.”
“My ears had heard of You but now my eyes have seen You!”
Faith comes by Hearing and hearing the Word of God. The spirit of prophecy is the Testimony of Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit is given by God to reveal The One who is Faithful and True – Jesus Christ, the Living Eternal Word of God the Father.
When God finished giving Job the new revelation of Who He really is, Job suddenly knew all was well with him and with the whole universe!
God was and always has been and ever more shall be, in control.
The combatant turned into the worshiper:
Job’s “whys” turned to “Who.”
Epilogue: God hears and answers the prayers of those who worship Him in spirit and in truth!
Job was restored in order to be about his Father’s business which is a “family” business and is all about being our “brother’s” keeper. After God restored Job, he prayed for his “mourners” (those that did not speak right about God). Remember we have what we say and if you faint in the day of adversity then your strength is small. But the joy of the Lord is our strength! Joy comes in the morning! And God will wipe away all your tears.
God restores us in spirit and in truth to worship Him in the beauty of holiness by serving him in the family business by interceding in prayer for those who need His mercy and deliverance. They have been talking nonsense about Him, and are not being honest with Him, but we have seen the Lord and He hears and answers our prayers because those that come to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those that diligently seek Him. We have seen the Lord! He is risen and He lives forever.
God has an Expected End for whosoever will believe.
He will hear and answer the prayers of His true believers and has restored us – even doubling our blessings – so that we might use them in His service of restoring others unto Him.
Your end is better than your beginning in God! The glory of this latter “house” is greater than the former.
God wants us to see the greatness of His Son. The Bible says, “…He is Lord of all” (Acts 10:36).
This means that Jesus Christ is over everything in God’s universe.
Some of you must needs go through a “Damascus Road experience” (read Acts chapter 9) to remove the stinking thinking of doubt and dis-belief in order to really see the gift that God has given in Christ Jesus!
Acts 26:16-18, “But rise, and stand upon thy feet: for I have appeared unto thee for this purpose, to make thee a minister and a witness both of these things which thou hast seen, and of those things in the which I will appear unto thee; Delivering thee from the people, and from the Gentiles, unto whom now I send thee, To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.”
Saul of Tarsus who was originally a learned, religious man yet fighting against God, became one of the greatest apostles and evangelists of the faith. He spoke with certainty in saying,
in 2 Corinthians 5:1 (NLT),
“For we know that when this earthly tent we live in is taken down (that is, when we die and leave this earthly body), we will have a house in heaven, an eternal body made for us by God himself and not by human hands.”
Thank You, Almighty Father God, for Your awesome power. Thank You that You will be in each tomorrow. For Jesus Christ is the Same, Yesterday, Today and Forever and He has promised to never leave or forsake us and to be with us even unto the end of the age! Jesus Christ is the Living Eternal Word that You sent to heal and deliver us from the curse of sin and death. You sent Your Word and healed us and delivered us from destruction that we might live unto to the glory of God! All Your promises are “Yes and Amen!” in Christ Jesus to the glory of God the Father. Thank You for the gift of salvation and eternal life in Christ Jesus my Lord and Savior. Because He lives, I can face tomorrow, knowing that there is good waiting behind each sunrise. He arises with healing in his wings. Nothing can separate me from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus my Lord and Savior. Amen.
Everyone remembers the story of Job but few know the ending:
Job lived on another 140 years, living to see his children and grandchildren—four generations of them! Then he died—an old man, a full life. God blessed Job’s later life even more than his earlier life. After Job had interceded for his friends, God restored his fortune—and then doubled it! All his brothers and sisters and friends came to his house and celebrated. They told him how sorry they were, and consoled him for all the trouble God had brought him. His 7 sons and three daughters were restored and their father treated them as equals with their brothers, providing the same inheritance.
There is no longer Jew or Gentile, slave or free, male and female. For you are all one in Christ Jesus. This righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference.
Galatians 3:28 (NLT), Romans 3:22
Psalm 145:13 ESV
Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and your dominion endures throughout all generations. [The LORD is faithful in all his words and kind in all his works.]
Father, in the Name of Jesus, I speak by the Authority of His Eternal Word to those who have been hindered by doubt or blinded by unbelief. Holy Spirit unearth all doubt and unbelief blocking the flow of receiving the spirit of truth and love that is in Christ Jesus our Lord and Savior. Lord we believe help our unbelief, restore to us the Joy of Your Salvation in Christ Jesus our Lord and Savior Unstop the blockages and remove every hindrance out of the way of my people and let Your healing river flow within them to cleanse them from all unrighteousness and bring them into wholeness and fellowship with You and each other. Amen.
