This morning, I woke up from a dream. It was a spiritual dream. God was showing me to just put my faith and trust in Him in perfect confidence.
“For my thoughts are not your thoughts,
neither are your ways my ways,”
declares the LORD.
“As the heavens are higher than the earth,
so are my ways higher than your ways
and my thoughts than your thoughts.
As the rain and the snow
come down from heaven,
and do not return to it
without watering the earth
and making it bud and flourish,
so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater,
so is my word that goes out from my mouth:
It will not return to me empty,
but will accomplish what I desire
and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.”
(Isaiah 55:8-11 NIV)
God’s thoughts and plans are always on us. As His ways and thoughts are much higher than ours, so too His purpose for us is much better than what we can hope or imagine ourselves.
Daily we face decisions that if left to our own resources, they are too hard to bear. But if we will just seek to do His will without questioning or complaining, He will enable us with strength to go on and in the going, joy and peace come from trusting His will.
The devil doesn’t want us to see the end that God has prepared for those that love Him in submission to His will. The devil wants us to think only of ourselves and preserving our own self interests but the Bible is very clear that he who seeks to save his own life will lose it yet the ones that lose their lives for the Lord, find it.
Those that know God, know the Truth and are accountable unto Him to share this good news to those He sends them to. In my dream, that was represented by my own acceptance of trust and then, turning to announce the error of my ways and the peace of mind that comes from doing God’s will. I could not hoard this revelation for it was a gift from God Almighty. It was meant for all not just one.
In the dream, God was showing me not to be preoccupied or concerned on whether or not they heeded this warning immediately for my job was to announce it and it was the work of His Holy Spirit to tend the seed planted in their hearts. There is no fear in this great love He gives. No worries, no anxieties, no striving; only joy and peace in leaving the end in His hands.
The Word is clear that God is swift to avenge all disobedience when our obedience is complete–perfect–whole–mature–lacking nothing.
There is no second-guessing because He does everything well. He gives us a hope and a future, life everlasting.
As soon as I chose His way, life, the story transformed and grew into a love story. The “fruit” of the selfish flesh (pride’s offspring) was stillborn and a new child was born (the new man in Christ Jesus).
The end of a matter is better than its beginning, and patience is better than pride. We do not want you to become lazy, but to imitate those who through faith and patience inherit what has been promised.
Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. (Ecclesiastes 7:8; Hebrews 6:12 and James 1:2-4 NIV)
You decide: Truth or Propaganda, pro-choice or pro-life…
God’s Word is True and the devil is a liar for he is the father (originator) of all lies and he only comes to steal, to kill and to destroy but Jesus came so that whoever believes on Him may have life everlasting and more abundant. (John 10:10)
“This day I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses.
Now choose life, so that you and your children may live.” Deuteronomy 30:19 NIV
There is only one choice: life or death.
Pro-choice or going one’s own way always leads to a dead end.
Choose life so that you and your children may truly live!
What I am saying, dear brothers and sisters, is that our physical bodies cannot inherit the Kingdom of God. These dying bodies cannot inherit what will last forever. 1 Corinthians 15:50 NLT
When you obey my commandments, you remain in my love, just as I obey my Father’s commandments and remain in his love. I have told you these things so that you will be filled with my joy. Yes, your joy will overflow! This is my commandment: Love each other in the same way I have loved you. There is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. You are my friends if you do what I command. John 15:10-14 NLT
I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in him. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit.
Romans 15:13 NLT
“Sing, barren woman,
you who never bore a child;
burst into song, shout for joy,
you who were never in labor;
because more are the children of the desolate woman
than of her who has a husband,”
says the LORD.
“Enlarge the place of your tent,
stretch your tent curtains wide,
do not hold back;
lengthen your cords,
strengthen your stakes.
For you will spread out to the right and to the left;
your descendants will dispossess nations
and settle in their desolate cities.
“Do not be afraid; you will not be put to shame.
Do not fear disgrace; you will not be humiliated.
You will forget the shame of your youth
and remember no more the reproach of your widowhood.
For your Maker is your husband—
the LORD Almighty is his name—
the Holy One of Israel is your Redeemer;
he is called the God of all the earth.
The LORD will call you back
as if you were a wife deserted and distressed in spirit—
a wife who married young,
only to be rejected,” says your God.
“For a brief moment I abandoned you,
but with deep compassion I will bring you back.
In a surge of anger
I hid my face from you for a moment,
but with everlasting kindness
I will have compassion on you,”
says the LORD your Redeemer.
“To me this is like the days of Noah,
when I swore that the waters of Noah would never again cover the earth.
So now I have sworn not to be angry with you,
never to rebuke you again.
Though the mountains be shaken
and the hills be removed,
yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken
nor my covenant of peace be removed,”
says the LORD, who has compassion on you.
“Afflicted city, lashed by storms and not comforted,
I will rebuild you with stones of turquoise,
your foundations with lapis lazuli.
I will make your battlements of rubies,
your gates of sparkling jewels,
and all your walls of precious stones.
All your children will be taught by the LORD,
and great will be their peace.
In righteousness you will be established:
Tyranny will be far from you;
you will have nothing to fear.
Terror will be far removed;
it will not come near you.
If anyone does attack you, it will not be my doing;
whoever attacks you will surrender to you.
“See, it is I who created the blacksmith
who fans the coals into flame
and forges a weapon fit for its work.
And it is I who have created the destroyer to wreak havoc;
no weapon forged against you will prevail,
and you will refute every tongue that accuses you.
This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD,
and this is their vindication from me,”
declares the LORD.
