Early the next morning the army of Judah went out into the wilderness of Tekoa. On the way Jehoshaphat stopped and said, “Listen to me, all you people of Judah and Jerusalem! Believe in the LORD your God, and you will be able to stand firm. Believe in his prophets, and you will succeed.” -2 Chronicles 20:20
Psalms 25:14, “The secret of the LORD is with them that fear him; and he will shew them his covenant.”
Deuteronomy 29:29, “The secret things belong unto the LORD our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law.”
Genesis 18:16-23, “And the men rose up from thence, and looked toward Sodom: and Abraham went with them to bring them on the way. And the LORD said, Shall I hide from Abraham that thing which I do; Seeing that Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him? For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the LORD, to do justice and judgment; that the LORD may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of him. And the LORD said, Because the cry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grievous; I will go down now, and see whether they have done altogether according to the cry of it, which is come unto me; and if not, I will know. And the men turned their faces from thence, and went toward Sodom: but Abraham stood yet before the LORD. And Abraham drew near, and said, Wilt thou also destroy the righteous with the wicked?”
Isaiah 45:3, “And I will give thee the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that thou mayest know that I, the LORD, which call thee by thy name, am the God of Israel.”
Amos 3:7, “Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he reveala his secret unto his servants the prophets.”
Let us draw near to God with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith. Hebrews 10:22
HOPE ENCOURAGES the heart to move forward through the trials of today; it shines a light of assurance into the darkest places of uncertainty; it places secure stepping stones upon every river that needs to be crossed. Roy Lessin
Oswald Chambers says, “What makes God so dear to us is not so much His BIG BLESSINGS to us, but the TINY THINGS, because they show His AMAZING INTIMACY with us — He knows every detail of each of our individual lives.”
The LORD knows those who are His. 2 Timothy 2:19
Hebrews 4:12-16, “For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do. Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.”
Jesus is that 2 edged sword, the Living Word of the Almighty Father God! He knows our every weakness but if we let Him, His strength is made perfect in our weakness. His joy is our strength in times of weakness. He is our peace in times of duress. He is the sword that cuts through every pretense. He is the light that sees through every cover up. He is the healing water that reaches to the driest most barren part of every longing part and brings life and fruitfulness.
He is the healing balm to every scar tissue and wounded spirit. He is the acceptor and lover of every rejected and lonely heart. He is the transformer of everyone that comes into newness of life and we exchange our emptiness to become bearers of His image, His life, His light, His love to those He sends us. He is the lifter of our head, our companion, our encouragement, our confidence and our great assurance of life more abundant and ever lasting peace! He is our victory even while in the shadowlands of this side of life. He is our vision as we lift our heads and look unto Him the firstborn of the family of God.
John 3:14-17, “And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: That whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.”
Mark 4:22, “For there is nothing hid, which shall not be manifested; neither was any thing kept secret, but that it should come abroad.”
Yes, I am KNOWN but I am still LOVED!
Father, You search me and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting for Your name’s sake and glory. Cleanse and restore me in the truth and beauty of Your righteousness in Christ Jesus. AMEN
1 Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered.
2 Blessed is the man unto whom the LORD imputes not iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no guile.
3 When I kept silence, my bones waxed old through my roaring all the day long.
4 For day and night thy hand was heavy upon me: my moisture is turned into the drought of summer. Selah.
5 I acknowledged my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the LORD; and thou forgave the iniquity of my sin. Selah.
6 For this shall every one that is godly pray unto thee in a time when thou may be found: surely in the floods of great waters they shall not come nigh unto him.
7 Thou art my hiding place; thou shalt preserve me from trouble; thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah.
8 I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.
9 Be ye not as the horse, or as the mule, which have no understanding: whose mouth must be held in with bit and bridle, lest they come near unto thee.
10 Many sorrows shall be to the wicked: but he that trusts in the LORD, mercy shall compass him about.
11 Be glad in the LORD, and rejoice, ye righteous: and shout for joy, all ye that are upright in heart.
