In Hosea 4:6, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.”
They are lacking knowledge because they have not given heed. They have not because they have not asked and their hearts have not in awe approached the LORD for Who He is. Faithful is He who has promised and will do it!
James 1:2-8, “My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith works patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing. If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that gives to all men liberally, and upbraids not; and it shall be given him. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavers is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord. A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.”
Before there was a Prodigal coming home, his father was preparing a home coming, eyes of faith and heart of love fixed on the Way, in hope expecting his son!
All who are truly spiritual descendants of Father Abraham know the One who is Faithful and True. These know that what the One says cannot be broken for whatever He says, is. And willing to demonstrate how fixed and enduring His Unbroken Word is, He cut a blood-covenant.
Genesis 17:7-8, “And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee. And I will give unto thee, and to thy seed after thee, the land wherein thou art a stranger, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and I will be their God.”
Abraham, the man God called, “His friend“, chosen not rejected, called beloved and in the promised Isaac, “Laughter!“, the everlasting covenant.
Abraham who knew and trusted in God’s Word as Solid Rock.
Abraham who knew no fear for he knew Who was with him in all things.
Abraham who learned to wait like the Father, watching with expectant hope in the promised child that was coming. In Isaac, he saw the triumphant laugh in the redemption of man from the curse of sin and death.
We win! We Win! Because we have seen the End for Jesus is the Alpha and Omega, the Aleph and Tov, the Beginning and the End! To the glory of God the Father!
When the Lord brought back the captives to Zion, we were like men who dreamed. Our mouths were filled with laughter, our tongues with songs of joy. Then it was said among the nations, “The Lord has done great things for them.” The Lord has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy.
Job 8:21, “He will yet fill your mouth with laughter and your lips with shouts of joy.”
Nehemiah 8:10, “…for the joy of the Lord is your strength.”
Job 5:22, “You will laugh at destruction and famine, and need not fear the beasts of the earth.”
Our heritage in the LORD as the spiritual seed of Father Abraham – the true sons of Isaac, whose name prophetically speaks, “Laughter!”
Laughter, sings the redeemed sons and daughters of victory even as “Geronimo!” is their victorious shouts of faith, launching out into the deep of God preparing to receive a haul. Our testimony that the same Holy Spirit that raised Jesus Christ from the dead, lives inside of us, reviving and recreating our mortal and transforming and maturing us into the very image of our Heavenly Father, according to His Holy Word, the Risen Lord and Savior Jesus the Messiah.
The Holy Spirit, our perfect Teacher and Guide, like a mother eagle who knows when the eaglets are ready to fly, their wings stretched and strengthened by days’ of exercising their faith in her loving lessons. We hear and do whatever His Word says to our hearts.
God does not want His children to suffer from lack of any good thing. No good thing will He withhold from those who walk in the blood of the Lamb, the Lord our Righteousness, Jesus Christ, with Him. Jesus in Luke 22:35, asks His disciplined, trained ones, “…when I sent you without purse, and scrip, and shoes, lacked ye any thing? And they said, Nothing.”
When you know the King, the Creator of the Universe, the Restorer of Life, you know Whose you are and you have confidence in the perfect love that casts out all fear.
You walk out of the dunghill, the ashes of your past sinful existence into the glorious faithful Resurrection abundant Kingdom with the Crowned Prince of Peace! For He is the Way, the Truth and the Life and no man comes to the Father but by Him. We walk by simple faith believing as a child in the goodness and love of our Heavenly Father side by side with the Living Word, the Son of God. This is the Key, the Focus, the Perfecter, the One who is the Author and Finisher of the Book. The Lamb that was slain and lives. The Lion of the Tribe of Judah, for Salvation is of the Jews. The spiritual Seed of Father Abraham is believing and acting upon what He says.
Isaiah 55:7, “Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.”
Ecclesiastes 9:7-8, “Go thy way, eat thy bread with joy, and drink thy wine with a merry heart; for God now accepts thy works. Let thy garments be always white; and let thy head lack no ointment.”
2 Peter 1:2-12, “Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord, According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. But he that lacks these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins. Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall: For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Wherefore I will not be negligent to put you always in remembrance of these things, though ye know them, and be established in the present truth.”
