“A Word To The Wise is Sufficient” – My Daddy was a believer in the lasting truth of God’s Word. He believed that God was a loving Father who, all-knowingly desires His best for His children.
True worship is obedience without questioning that Father’s love.
Worship in spirit and in truth is to take God at His Word and do as He says. Of such a spirit, is the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven. The faith of a child of God that is a great value in the sight of God and commended by Christ Jesus before man.
Psalms 111:10, “The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever.”
Those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars forever and ever. Daniel 12:3
God’s perfect and acceptable will is that we allow Him to transform us into the image of His Son so that His Word infuses the darkness in our sphere of influence with the light of His love.
During the Nazi occupation of WWII, the Jews were required to wear the Star of David for identification which led to persecution then destruction. This is how the enemy of our soul always operates, the spirit of antiChrist, the devil, Satan. He turns around, perverting the truth of God into a lie.
Yet during WWII, there were noble goyim who voluntarily identified with God’s chosen people, the Jews, in a variety of ways even including the wearing of the Star of David. Of these, some were destroyed with the very people they identified with.
Matthew 16:24-27, “Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it. For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.”
Even so, there were Jews who refused to wear the Star and escaped in any way conceivable.
Through the ages, there are two kinds of people, those who identify with the Son of God and those who do not. Those who do have His Word hidden in their hearts that they sin not and it is even as a star shining brighter unto His coming day. The day when all shall be revealed and we will be like Him.
With His Word as a light in our hearts, we are able to see where we are going as we walk in the light of that Word. There is no fear of falling to those who love His Word for He is right there the moment they stumble to lift them back up. And there is no place for selfishness in God’s people for the first and greatest of His commands is to love God and the second, to love others.
Our light is given to help others find their Way to Jesus and through Him, the Father.
Father Abraham received the revelation of his children being as the stars in the heavens for multitudes and King David, the star as a symbolic for the Everlasting Kingdom that is not of this world, of which Jesus is the Prince of Peace.
The Star is deciphered thus:
An upwards triangle pointing to man’s need for God.
Superimposed over this is a downwards triangle, symbolizing God answering our heart’s cry.
Together these combine to form the six-points of the Star of David.
God speaks to His children through the Law and the Prophets and is fulfilled in the Star of Bethlehem when Emmanuel (God with us) made His home with man.
The six-points represent the triune God and man made in His likeness with body, mind and soul.
Together we are One with God in the Messiah, Jesus Christ, the Everlasting King of Kings.
Just as Jesus’ body was unbroken on the cross; God’s word is not broken for it is impossible for Him to lie. Even though unbelievers have taken His name in vain and used it to blaspheme the cross of Christ to shame and attempt destruction of the Jews, this is not of God for salvation is of the Jews.
Even so the Jews are not exclusive but inclusive of the goyim, the Gentiles as we are made one new man in the Lord Christ Jesus. We are grafted in to their root stock. The Prince of Peace will come to be seen in His children in great peace that far surpasses man’s understanding.
