Then a cloud overshadowed them, and a voice from the cloud said, “This is my dearly loved Son. Listen to him.” -Mark 9:7
He came to His own, but His own did not receive Him. – John 1:11
This is the sin that will keep God from hearing your prayers–the sin of not believing in Christ as your personal Savior. If this is your sin, the ONLY prayer from you that God will hear is one of repentance and faith as you invite Christ into your life.
Hebrews 11:6, “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that comes to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.”
God knows what it is you need. Ask Him. He will tell you.
Jeremiah 33:3, “Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou know not.”
Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them and you will have them. Mark 11:24
Tell me Lord what to do. Show me the way and I will show others that we may all know Your glory. Amen.
God wants to talk to you. He has things to say that you need to hear.
Is there anything in your life that you would be afraid to be publicized?
Be sure that God sees and knows all.
Fear will keep us from coming to God but trust will bring us into a healing, redemptive relationship with Him.
Know that we all have things that we are not proud of and would like to hide but the Bible says that if we confess our sins, He is Faithful and Just to cleanse us from ALL unrighteousness.
But if we hold on to the fear, it will slowly eat away at the very core of our innermost being, death the ultimate outcome.
God already knows and there’s no hiding from His All-knowing. His is the only complete and perfect knowledge that we need to effect true and lasting change in ourselves.
James 4:8, “Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.”
God’s grace is amazing! Not only does He know all about us, He is not repulsed but loves us and sent His Son to set us free from the curse of sin and death through the cross’s forgiving, saving grace. That is love so amazing, so divine that demands my life, my soul, my all!
Father, search our hearts today. In the light of Your love, point out anything within us that offends You, and guide us on Your path to everlasting life in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
